Good morning and happy Tuesday, have a question for you. We know that this line of work requires so much that persons hire help to help get ahead. My greatest challenge I believe like many others are driving traffic.

I spend so many hours writing although I spend time on Pinterest, I have not spent that much time on Twitter and Facebook. I was thinking of hiring a marketing agency to do the marketing work for me.

But then there is the challenge of a budget and finding the extra money to do this. The question how should I go about this is there any paid traffic that will promote my site that is not costly. Marketing and promotions plays such a BIG role when driving traffic. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Norman, I have paid to get traffic to my website, but was disappointed with the results.
I do notice that the more I blog on my website, the traffic I get.
I do not have the money to afford anything else.

Best wishes,
Michael

My best advice is to focus on one stream of traffic. The best one is of course, search engines. From my experience in an highly competitive niche, it takes 12+ months to start getting serious traffic. Just keep publishing content and follow best SEO practices.

Search engines success is cumulative in results.

Regarding that secondary traffic source, you can’t go wrong with YouTube. It works well because your content gets Google rankings as well. And people love videos.

But go one stream at the time.

You don’t want to spend money on assistance before you become an expert. Spend time mastering your skills before outsourcing is my advice.

Great question Norman, I think we have all asked this throughout our journeys. It's a hard one to answer as there is no right answer. What works for some people doesn't work for others.

This is my take... I would keep creating good quality that gets ranked in the search engines, this will in time build nicely and give you free traffic.

I would set up accounts across each major social platforms and just share your content on these platforms. See which platforms get the most engagement and clicks back to your blog. Don't spend any time on the platforms just share for now.

Take the best one and then concentrate solely on this and go for it. This should then give you a second traffic stream. Once you start generating commissions then hire a VA to manage your social platform so that you can move to the next best one and build that one.

Unfortunately, unless you have money to burn, then, in the beginning, you are always going to be limited.

I would always hire a VA and not a marketing company.
I am finding Youtube to be a great source of traffic.

Trust this helps :)

My suggestions is to build your wensite and once you gain authority traffic will increase.

This needs time. With reference to others 6 months to 1 year.

You also need to have 40 articles published.

I strongly recommend you to upload videos as it converts as well and is better than still images or text.

Marc.
