Hi everybody,
I posted a couple of posts and gave several +1 and I got following unpleasant warning from Google :

quote
Dear Google+ user,
Your Google+ post or comment activity has recently violated the Google+ User Content and Conduct Policy.
Spamming, including sending unwanted promotional or commercial content, or unwanted or mass solicitation, is not permitted.
This is a warning, and your access to Google+ should not be currently impacted. If you continue to create or share content that violates our policies, you may lose the ability to use some or all features of Google+. Learn more
Sincerely,
The Google+ Support Team

The problem is that I don't know what I am doing wrong.
Does anybody know more about posting on G+ the proper way without violating rules of G+.

Regards,
Alex

I use Google Plus primarily to send a link to my website, not to promote products.

Jay of Magistudio teach it pretty well how to do it. And he has a very detailed way of doing it.

In a nutshell, every time you publish a post on your site, you go to Google Plus and wrote a small post telling people about that post on your site with a link to that post you just wrote on your site.

It's like inviting them to go on your site to read that post.

I don't remember exactly what webinar it was. You can always check this one: I think it shows not only how to optimize your article but also how to post in Google Plus.

Are you posting affiliate links straight onto your post?

Yes, I did.

You will need to post the url of your post rather than your affiliate links direct. Let your readers go to your site first

Thank you very much. I will try that as well as posting via images.

Perhaps you can share a link to your Google+ account so we can see it?

Did you include links to Wealthy Affiliate? I heard that is not allowed.

The best way to make use of Google+ is to share your content with a link to your website, then let your readers go from there to Wealthy Affiliate.

Or create a Twitter account, WA links are allowed there.

Good Luck, if you want to connect let me know, here to help. :)

Quote from Google+

"Google policy does not permit advertisements for data entry affiliate programs. This includes ads which direct users to sites that promote the creation or data entry of other ads directing users to the same site. There are no exceptions to this policy, which is intended to protect both advertisers and AdWords users."

I suggest you to post helpful posts to your website and avoid affiliate marketing words completely.

Let your readers use your website to go from there.

Thank you very much. Now, I am getting it but to be honest so many posts I visited on G+ plus lead to Affiliate Marketing websites.
CoachGom gave me some useful advice about using Canva.

Alex

If you are posting affiliate links on Google Plus, including your affiliate link for WA and content in here, you will definitely receive such kind of message.

What we usually do with Google Plus is, we share the URL of our blog post (wordpress site, not your profile blog here), and then post it there.

Or, create an image post in Canva, with your website name at the bottom of the image, and then share it on Google Plus. That strategy is accepted.

Thanks for prompt reply, I did share my posts about affiliate marketing from my blog which include affiliate links
If I make the post in Canva as you suggest, will visitors be able to come to my website by clicking the image?

No. Just print your site address on the image saying "Visit ___ ". Put it at the bottom of the image. I've seen it done by other successful social media marketers and they're not having any problem. Plus, social networks and the people in there love images. They share images like crazy.

Maybe, this would be good subject for tutorial ( I hope I am not the only one getting this kind of warning )

Hi Alex ,

I got the very same warning and asked for advice here.

I did not include any affiliate links whatsoever as I knew Google plus doesn’t like affiliate links though I did mention Wealthy Affiliate so am thinking it could actually be those words that triggered my warning.

I went into Google + and deleted any posts mentioning WA by name , just have to wait and see now .

Andrew.

Hi Andrew, thank you for sharing this with me.

I do have WA banner but I still don't understand why warning when I have seen a lot of pages from "Affiliate marketing" posted.

Anyway, we play on Google's playground so we have to do it according to its rules.

Alex

Yep, it’s a no win situation with Google so I don’t let it bother me anymore, I used to take it personal and felt like striking back, now I don’t waste my time or sleep over it and just move on .

I agree with you. I see others here who never used Google Plus and yet ranking high with their keywords.
