Dear Friends
Would you be so kind as to explain how to create a post on Instagram with copy and paste option, please?
When I create a post on Instagram, I use my PC because it is much easy than using phone.
After downloading the picture on Instagram, I need to write a caption. When I copy text from my saved documents and I want to paste the text in a caption – Instagram doesn`t allow to do this. It seems quite ridiculous to type text for a caption of each Instagram post.
Any suggestion how to paste text on Instagram caption, please?
Thank you very much, indeed.
Kind regards,
Andrey

I type the text in my notes on iCloud and then use the notes app on my iPhone (where to note is synced) to copy and paste the text to my instagram option.

That or I access a file on in my Google Drive and copy from there. But basically it should work with any file that you can sync between your phone and computer.

It looks like you are doing it all on your computer from your screenshot. Can you let me know where you are doing this? Because as far as I know you cannot even create posts on your PC.

Dear Linda
Thank you very much for your reply.

You can create posts on PC and it is much easy to use PC than phone.
If you would like to try, please follow the steps in the tutorial

But one problem is pasting text as you know.

Kind regards,
Andrey

Wow, that feels like a long round about way of doing it. I think I will stick with my hack, thanks though.

Have you tried Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V to copy and paste instead of using your mouse. I know Google Docs is weird that way, that you can only paste with keyboard shortcuts. Perhaps this is the case here.

Actually, I just tried it and it pastes fine with me if I try the Chrome way of doing it. Ctrl + V works and so does right mouse click.

Dear Linda.
Thank you very much for you reply.
I am going to try your way with Chrome without mouse. I have used FireFox before with mouse.
Kind regards,
Andrey
