Oh my word, I have spend literally hours trying to figure out how to find my Facebook Id".

I have looked within the WA platform, online, and on Facebook Help and still can't figure it out.

If you change your ID# number to your name, do you no longer have an id #?

Thank you to all who responded. After looking into this further, I have discovered a very quick and easy way to find your Facebook ID # after you have changed it to a username.

I have created training on how I found this here if you would be interested in taking a look.

If I recalled correctly. When you first joined Facebook it will assign a number to you as an ID. However, over time, as your site mature or has gained enough likes or established as a brand. It automatically replaces the number with a name. You will not be able to get back that number. Anyway, it is easier for someone to know you by a name than a lengthy number.
Hope this help to clarify matters. [Kelsey]

The Url in the browser contains the id, but when you change your username the name replaces the number, as Ibrahim (TheBuilder) said.
Once you could find the id on the Page Info, but not anymore think...

People miss out on so many things when they don't read others comments. Some threads are just way too long to read them all but I try to make a habit of reading down through others comments. It is a good learning tool.

Your name replaces the number. I guess it's better to have the name instead of a number. What do you think?

Yes I agree. Having your name in place of the long ugly series of numbers is best but for what I am trying to accomplish, I believe thay are asking for the original page id number

Thank you, I did than created a training tutorial of how I found it. I found out through another member that my method doesn't always work in other countries. Her site is done in Dutch and it didn't work out.
Here is the tutorial if you would like to check it out.
