How can I change the URL of my G+ site to be something people will recognise?

I am still trying to figure out how to do it. I know at one time I actually got a message from Google inviting me to create a custom URL. That was easy to follow but it did say once created you can't change it.
That, however, was on a different account, so my current account still has a string of numbers.

Here something interesting. I found a woman that blog about G+ so I sent here a question on it. Ok that's not the interesting part. What I found amazing is her profile says she has 14 G+ posts about using G+ and she has 1.4 million followers.

Kev see if this helps you out. You will need to take the space out of the URL

Thanks Tim, I tried the method in the link you gave me but the description is nothing like my G+ profile page. Perhaps it is for the classic G+. Cheers Kev

Thanks Tania, I tried going back to classic and found the option. I am struggling to know what to do now, I did change the URL way back when I was new to this business. G+ only allows 1 change. I can create a new account but I have a lot of credibility and followers with my current account.
Should I stay with the current account with the wrong URL (it is very bad with spelling mistakes) or create a new one?
Cheers Kev

HEY HUN, I WAS JUST ABOUT TO SEND YOU SCREEN SHOTS :-)) LOL.....SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT....

YOU CLAIMED THE G+ CUSTOM URL
THEN YOU CHANGED IT WITH MISTAKES...
NOW YOU CANT CHANGE IT AGAIN.........
IS THAT RIGHT?

IF THAT IS THE CASE AND YOU HAVE A GOOD FOLLOWING I WOULD STICK WITH THE CURRENT ACCOUNT AND JUST USE THE LONG URL OR YOU COULD ALWAYS HIDE THE LONG URL EMBEDDED IN A BUTTON OR TEXT OF HOW YOU WANTED THE URL TO LOOK, IF YOU GET MY DRIFT?

XOXO TO YOU AND YOURS

TANIA :-) ACTUALLY TYPING THIS WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE SCREEN SO IF THERE ARE ANY MISTAKES I APOLOGISE XOXO

Hahahaha You did well Tania.
I was thinking of using bity.com for a friendly URL but I was thinking of SEO. Do you think it is a problem?
