Hey all! Hope your Thursday night is going great!

So I have figured out that when I create a pin for Pinterest using Canva, I can publish straight through, which is nice. But.....

Canva doesn't allow for me to duplicate the pins for scheduling, it only allows for one pin scheduled one time, that pin.

So my question is.....

How do I take a pin that is already scheduled to be published, and duplicate it to be published multiple times in Pinterest?

I am not sure I am wording this correctly so please bare with me LOL.

I published a pin through Canva scheduled for tomorrow morning at 6:30 a.m.

Now I want to go into my Pinterest and duplicate that same pin for scheduling the next so many days.

I am not seeing this option, if it is even possible.

Anyone, Anyone? All help is appreciated and thanks in advance!

Hi Angela,

If you're posting from different parts of the same content, that sounds good to me. Just to give you my point of view on the repetition of the same content, Pinterest is a search engine on itself. Posting repetitively the same content may be counted as duplicate content. Again as I said before, if you are aiming the different paragraphs or different parts of the content in each pin then in that situation it might be fine.

Hey Meena.

So I watched a pinterest video on using the native scheduler for my posts. In the video, the girl was scheduling the same pin at the same time everyday.

She didn't mention anything about it being looked at as duplicate content.

This girl is very popular and makes money. I wonder if what you say has any ground (no offense). It is worth looking into for sure.

Thanks for this eye opening thought.

I know Tailwind is good for this, so you can put the same pin on different boards as long as they fit. Pintrest get this. Same board not so good. I do all mine a week ahead. Good luck, Phil

Thanks Phil! Not sure what you mean by "as long as they fit", could you please elaborate?

They fit with the theme of your board so not a pic of a sandwich on a kennel niche board ...random I know lol sorry it was the first thing that came into my head !

Hi if you cannot do it from Canva, I would download it and later upload it to a secret board on Pinterest that's not shared in the feed to then share it whenever I am ready to do so.

You can use Later dot com, free account per one user allows four social media platforms, believe 30 posts a month each.

You can use a premium paid Tailwind to schedule to Pinterest.

Thanks Abie. I never thought of using a secret board for pins I'm not ready to share yet. That's a great idea!

I also use the Pinterest native scheduler now and can schedule up to two weeks of separate pins if need be.

Thanks for the tips! : )

You can download your pin, then when on Pinterest, click the add new pin, you can then use the schedule button which is located on the right-hand side bottom of the pin, choose the correct board you want to pin it, then instead of clicking publish, add to schedule

Yes thank you : ) I actually just did that. I figured instead of trying to figure something out that probably isn't likely is too much work and a waste of my time.

So I just uploaded my pin from Canva into Pinterest and created a week schedule that way. It is so much easier.

I must say I am extremely happy with Canvas animate feature. My pin looks awesome! The best to date for sure! This is my new go to!

Thanks for helping out Roamy! Always appreciated! : )

I used to be on Pinterest but not recently. You did use to be able to schedule pins more than once, in fact several times a day for several days a week. Monkey around with the scheduler. You should be able to figure it out. I doubt they would have done away with this. Unless it's a paid for option, which it might be.

Yes they still have that feature and I know how it works for pins that have not been scheduled yet.

I need to find if I can duplicate them once they have already been scheduled or pinned. Or do I have to create a whole new pin?
