They help you to get comments on your website and you are able to create discussions which sounds o.k. but they also put native adverts on your site.
It is free to use.
I would like to know your thoughts about Disqus and if you have used it, how has it been as an experience for you?

Just read that it isn't compatible with our version of Wordress in that it is untested and hasn't been updated for 6 months. Also found quite a few negative 1 star reviews, so I think I will not bother with it at all. The native ads also seem to be a bit of a pain bit like shareaholic by the sound of things. So big thumbs down.

Disqus is okay, but the cost of putting native adverts on your blog lowers your user experience and levels any benefits back to Neil. Here is some more reading.
