I am seeing a lot of pins showing how you can make money by posting your affiliate link directly on pinterest without using a blog. I know in the past pinterest haven't been keen on this but then seemed to change their mind. However I have tried their help section and can't get a definite answer and there doesn't seem to be a support centre I can contact.

I don't want to repin these posts if you can't do it but feel that some of my followers would be interested in it if you can.

Any advice would be great - thanks!

Very interested in knowing the outcome of this. What I did was create a new board and saved that link both to my page and I have my site on there pins and am adding directly to them. They end up feeding back to my website. Hope this is relative to your question. All the best.

Yes thanks. Think I am going to try to post an affiliate link directly and see what happens!

Hi Just to let you know that I tried pinning an affiliate link and it will post if you don't state that it is an affiliate link in the description or hashtags. However I understand that to be covered legally you need to disclose affiliate links (as we do on our websites) so I think it's not possible to post affiliate links directly on pinterest.

Hope this helps!

A slight correction on the last message - it was my WA link I was trying to pin and it seems it was that, that was causing the problem. I have successfully posted an affiliate link from another company with the #affiliatelink with no problems.

Hi Rich

Yes I had already watched Lynne's training but in the comments underneath there is a discussion about whether you can pin affiliate links directly to pinterest.

Thanks for answering

There is a place to ad link to your pin when you pin it to a board

Yes I know how to pin to a board but I was asking specifically about affiliate links as pinterest has banned them in the past and I don't know what the situation is now.

Thanks for answering

Hey Hazel,

I don't know weather this tutorial still workable or not. Alternatively, you can conduct a search on the top bar.

Yes I had already seen Lynn's tutorial but on the comments underneath there was some confusion whether you could still add affiliate links in pinterest.

I have also done a search in the top bar but there was no definitive answer.

Thanks for answering
