Hello everyone,

I wonder if I have to claim my subdomain on Pinterest the same way as for my website? Or is it just considered part of my main website?

Thank you in advance and have a lovely day!

That's a great question. If you're sending people to your main domain you only have to claim this one. But if you send traffic to both the main and sub domain you may have to claim both

Only thing is I believe Pinterest only allow one claim per account so you may need a second Pinterest account if you plan to claim both.

Best advice send all your traffic to one site

Hey,

Thank you very much for your answer. It is difficult to do so because my subdomain is an eCommerce store, according to the guidelines on Pinterest I should send the audience to the product I am showing on Pinterest, right? So, I can't send them to my main website which is basically a blog.

You can send them to the blog article that connect the reader to to the product.

You can send and claim whoever you choose, just make sure you claim the one where your initial traffic goes in order to verify your stats. Otherwise don't worry about claiming for now.
