Did you know this about Instagram?

At Instagram you are only allowed to follow 7,500 Friends but can be followed by as many Friends who want to follow you.

Seems kind of crazy to me.

I currently have 13,600 Followers and Follow 3,300

I never unfollow anyone who follows me unless the follower isn't actively liking and/or commenting on my posts.

Isn't that crazy?

Over 10,000 of the 13,600 Followers that I have following me aren't actively participating at Instagram.

If you are looking to grow your business following then I highly recommend that you get involved with Instagram and become active.

Instagram in the past year has been my #1 source for WA referrals over all of the other Mainstream Social Media sites combined.

Hopefully if you have been thinking about joining Instagram and/or become active there, then this post should fire you up!

Share your Instagram experiences below Friends, no links please.

Matthew,

at the top center where it says "Hey Matthew, search for help here..." You can type Instagram and find some very good Instagram training.

One thing that I'll point out here is that you are able to have up to 5 accounts per device so it's very easy to have a personal account along with a business account on your cell phone.

let me know that the above as well as the Instagram training helps you and your business matthew,

It takes many hours developing an Instagram account and apparently there is no other mechanism to maintain your account other than a Smartphone and the fact that you have to like taking photos all the time.

I have 100's of photos on an external hard drive but can't upload them, or can I because I have seen something about being able to do this.

How do you know when your subscribers aren't actively liking or posting on your account?

Are you using a piece of software?

Cheers

Hi Mick,

great questions my Friend.

WA site content has over 1,000,000 images that are available to us my friend so that is a pretty great source for posting.

I do have a virtual assistant that keeps track of my stats for me so that I know who is and isn't active Mick.

Thank you for the excellent questions,

Tony

Tony, is there a way to post the WA images to Instagram?

Mick,

what I do is that I go to Site Content and there I have a page that I just use for images. I choose my image and place it there then I Right Click on the image and choose "Save Image As" then I save it onto my laptop.

I then share the image onto Facebook (Sometimes I choose to share the image publicly but many times I choose "Share with only me) Then I go to my cell phone and onto facebook, I click on the image and choose "Share Image Externally" then I choose to share it onto Instagram.

Lots of steps but it gets the job done and actually takes less time than it seems.

There is a training that I created here on WA that shares the video as well so that may be a better source to show you how i do it.

At the top center search for "Images" and it should come up and/or you can go to my WA profile page and find it all there as well.

Let me know that the above helps you Mick,

Thanks, Tony. The problem I have here is with the phone as I decided some time ago now not to have one, and therefore I am looking for a way to maintain my Instagram account from my PC.

My other half has a smartphone so I could use that if I wanted to, but I am not one of those who takes photos all the time on the move.

Although Instagram was created for the person on the move I am sure there is a way of updating my photos from my pc, because there are some great ones.

I will take a look at the training though, thanks.

Have a nice week!
