I do not remember seeing anyone using Bible verses in their blogs. Can we use them? I don't want to go to WA jail. I just got out of FBook jail, where they have a wing named after me. I should have added I am doing a blog on motivation and the verse is in no way offensive to any religion. I am sure we have many religions here at WA, but a motivational Bible verse is for all.

Although they wouldn't necessarily bother me, I think it's best to avoid controversial topics so I would suggest not using them. This is a business community and as such I believe we should stick to the topics of affiliate marketing related business issues.

It is in no way the least bit controversial, but I wanted to see what the community thought and I think we have a consensus on the issue. I could just paraphrase the quote and nobody would even notice it being the least bit religious.

Are you talking about your blog here within WA or your own website? Within WA I can understand but your website is your domain. I’m working on a faith blog and it most definitely will have Bible verses.

It was for a blog post here about motivation. It just comes from the Bible. If I did not quote the book and verse, nobody would even know it was from the Bible.

I'm certainly not opposed, Mark. I'm happy to hear the answer to your great question. I'm also sorry (but laughing) about your FB wing! :)

Better to skip them. This is a place for business and not for religious beliefs.

The idea is to remain a comfortable setting where people feel like they fit in.
