I've never put Amazon ads on any posts. Are they worth putting on and if so on every post so long as they are relevant to the subject matter?

I haven't placed any since I have Google ads already, so adding Amazon ads would be too much.

I'm in the same boat as you Rob, I have no Amazon links either, so I'm afraid I'm not much help. I do know that Amazon has a rule that you need to make 3 sales within a set time, or they cancel your membership! so I am not joining till I am getting more traffic.
I will be interested to see what people have to say and if you don't get the answers you need, perhaps PM one of the ambassadors.

It's just something I thought I'd look into but I don't think I will do Amazon ads at least not right now.
Thanks Jenny :-)

If you're an Amazon affiliate, then links should be sufficient 'advertisement.'

Hey Rob,

You would need to sign up to Amazon to see if your website is acceptable to them before you consider using Amazon affiliate links.

Some members have made out very well as Amazon affiliates.

It truly depends on the niche we choose, the quality and uniqueness of the content we provide our readers with and the easy of loading our website (device friendly. loads quickly, etc.) as to whether we succeed or not.

Hope this helps you.

I am signed up on Amazon but I was thinking that the ads may take away from the article and not be worth it. Thank you!

Hey Rob,

I learned only recently that it is best to use text links rather than iframe and image links from Amazon. Apparently, they convert readers into buyers best. They also do not interfere with reading the information.

It makes sense and that's what I've been doing. Just food for thought...thank you :-)

I don't add them. I don't know if they are worth it or not, but I consider the look of my pages and whether or not it is distracting from my content... and if it makes the article so long that you lose the attention of your reader it is not worth it. I say keep it simple. keep it focused on what you want people to read and where you want them to focus on before they lose focus by all the distractions. I am still fairly new at this but I know when I go to someone's site and its busy with a ton of ads and clutter I cant stay, cant look or focus if there are too many distractions. dont know if that helps????
