Why is my 6 month referral commission pending? It has been 3 days.

Both the 6 month and 1 year payments are set up that way. They are held for 30 days before you are paid those long term membership options.

Ty. I was hoping for a different answer

Hi - payment is only made on the 1st of the month.

I am thinking of changing my theme to one that has navigation on the left. Does anyone know of a good one?

Use the feature filter

Great training!

Thank you Marion. I will check this out ASAP!

I just checked out your training. I never even realized the feature filter was there, thanks a bunch! Also, the responsive theme option is no longer there.

That's because all themes are now responsive or they get booted out of wordpress.org :)

Kim gave you the answer

How to search for themes tip:

go to wordpress.org/themes and select theme features you are looking for such as number of columns and sidebar positions.

https://wordpress.org/themes/tags/left-sidebar/

Hope this helps!

Kim

Thank you! Just what I needed!

Marion provided another way to do this, while you are in your WP admin. Her way is even easier because you can choose the theme right there.

You got a perfect answer from Dave.

With the theme you choose, you can customise it so the sidebar goes where you want it

Bear in mind free themes are restrictive, while paid themes offer much more

I know that on some themes I can do this. I was looking for just the navigation on the left and if I choose the sidebar on the right. Do you know of any specific themes that do this?

I am curious about Click Funnels. Has anybody every used it? What do you think about it? I would love some feedback. Thanks a bunch!

I had a Clickfunnels account for 3 years (and a free tee shirt!).

I found it to be a very good platform but only for a limited time, as the processes are easy to learn and i prefer to do my own work when I am confident in my ability in the subject.
Most of the training in building funnels is now available for free here in WA but I would not put people off giving it a go.

Terry

Alright. Thanks a bunch!

Click funnels are a good way to make money. MikeC69 seems to have a nice option.

Yes he did. That is why, I love WA, there is always someone here that is already ready to help.

I use it to build my list and promote a certain Online business platform , you may have heard of! It works great, and is all automated. Takes all the work out of creating landing pages and sales funnels.
I have a review on my site.
There is a Hack!
The system is $97 for 20 funnels. If you join for the 14 day free trial and find you like it, you can go to your account and opt out.
When someone either calls or e mails you asking why you left, tell them it doesn't work with your budget. They will offer you a 5 funnel membership for $30.
PM me if you have more questions
Mike

One other thing....if you simply want to build your list and promote a product like W.A. you can do that with a landing page on your website.
I got click funnnels so that I can also promote a training course.
Hope this helps!
Mike

Great tips and feedback Mike. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Mike for the info. I think I will try it. Thanks for the hack as well. I am always looking for ways to save money! I will check out your review if you leave me the link. Thanks a bunch.

Thanks Mike, I'm in the OFA 30-day challenge right now. I've been worried about the $97/month after the free 14-day trial. I agree there are a lot of upsells but I'm resisting, mainly because I just don't have the money. -Shirley

I am wanting to build an Amazon site but want to see a successful one if anybody has one I can look at. Thanks guys!

Shwana

Hi Shawna, I use Amazon as one of my sources of income. What I have done picked some items related to my niche and got their link for that particular item(s). Then I go back and get the link for Amazon's whole page(s). That way they can pick up the item(s) I got listed or go to the complete Amazon page and shop around. Either way I get a commission.

Any time

I am still building mine, so I don't consider it successful yet. To find some good examples, I suggest Googling a product that you are interested in knowing more about.

Cell phones might be an example. Check out the different websites that do not belong to Amazon or a major phone company that come up on the first page.

As you look at the websites, notice the ones that link to Amazon. Use them for inspiration. Do not copy. You can see what they are doing and what you like and don't like.

As time goes by, you will naturally start to notice how common affiliate marketing is.

I do not plan on copying at all. I just want to see what is out there.

My site isn't about Amazon or specific to Amazon. That said, I have a lot of Amazon affiliate links in various articles. You're welcome to look at it if you'd like:

This morning I woke up and Gutenberg was installed. Do I have to use it? If not how do I switch back to the old editor. To tell you the truth I do not like it.

Gutenberg is very easy to master - I found it a bit tricky

I created a dummy website on siterubix and practised with gutenberg. This brain of ours does not like change

According to the latest from the WordPress team, Gutenberg will become the default editor in version 5, which is currently scheduled for release towards the end of November.

If you install the Classic Editor plugin now (i.e. ahead of version 5), and activate it, you should see no difference when version 5 is released. The Classic Editor plugin completely disables Gutenberg.

You can find the Classic Editor plugin here:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/

There's another plugin that does the same thing: disable Gutenberg.

The disable Gutenberg plugin is here:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-gutenberg/

Both plugins have the option to completely disable Gutenberg or to selectively disable it. This is described in more detail on those pages to which I linked.

Let me know if you have any questions or I need to clarify anything.

Cheers,

Martin.

Seems like you got a lot of good answers.

As always you have to consider SEO aspects everytime you deal with Wordpress, Just like Google. WP is our primary net builder in WA!

Hi
I have never heard of Gutenberg, but I looked it up and it looks like a Wordpress plug-in. If you installed this plug-in then you should be able to deactivate it.
But the thing is I also found (disable Gutenberg ) plug-in and in the description it says disable gutenberg and replace with classic editor.
I never dealt with this plug-in so honestly I don’t know if just deactivating the Gutenberg plug-in will send you to the old version or not you may have to install the disable Gutenberg plug-in.

I hope this helps
-Dora

No, you should not have to use it now. Your desktop will have an option to revert to the Classic Editor. Some day Gutenberg will be default, when it's more refined and ready, but that won't be for a while.

Thank you! I am soooo relieved!. I wonder why it was activated this morning?

It could have just been an errant click. Although it's technically a plugin for now, they've placed a button to switch over to it right on our Dashboards, making it easy to accidentally hit. Did you get it turned off?

Not necessary, just deactivated the Gutenberg plugin and reinstall the classic editor from the dashboard.

I didn't think we had to use Gutenberg yet. I thought they were still in the Beta stage. I will follow you to see what other member have to say. Triblu is very knowable in these areas I would check with her.

Hope this helps you out.
