Another Low For Kiwi land
Just heard on the news there was a mass shooting today in one of our cities - Christchurch. For a small country - we sure make big news...sad day for us in New Zealand. 500 people in a mosque shot at and about 29 people killed. Gunman still on the loose...sad, sad, sad day for me. Hearts and thoughts go out to those dear people involved.

Just saw it on the news site. Such a gutless and cowardley act. We Aussies love some friendly banter with the Kiwis but on sad days like this we are all one!

I know it's so shocking. Even more so because like Australia, New Zealand has pretty strict gun control laws.
My heart aches to hear of so many innocent lives being cut short.
I am sick of all the hate spreading around the world these days.
Thankfully it is only a small minority of these bad people spreading hate.
I will say a prayer for all those affected.
I will light a candle and send lots of light and love New Zealand's way xx
I've just picked it up on MSN. Apparently 2 mosques involved, a man in dark classes and helmet armed with an automatic weapon. So sad. And the effect is just to continue the escalation so that further down the track some more innocents suffer.
It also said one man had been taken into custody.
I just watched the live - and everyone still on lockdown in the CBD. Auzzie and Kiwis are very similar - we hurt big when this happens in our homelands.
This is tragic, oh dear. Rest their gentle souls, and I hope for justice in your homeland

It just shows how ugly some people's hearts can be - to shoot at a peaceful gathering...my daughter text me to check if her youngest sister was home safe from a strike rally for global warming in Auckland. I think my eldest child was concerned something crazy would happen there too...
