The easiest way to find answers you're looking for here at WA is to use the smart search up top. Click on the magnifying glass and then type in "internal links" and it brings up several training tutorials, including one I made a while back: Internal Links vs External Links vs Backlinks

Could my operating system cause this problem?
What does most of the WA affiliates use?
I can easily put Linux on my system.
I'd keep it up to date.
But logging to WA and working on websites is not related to your PC's operating system.
So are you only getting this message when working on your WP website? Can you get into your WP site? If yes, then it has nothing to do with your operating system.

Or do you get the message once you are on your sites WP Dashboard? If inside your WP dashboard are you using GeneratePress as your WP theme?
So you are getting this message when using GeneratePress, right?
Did you delete any plugins?
Do you have SEO Framework installed?
You can to go WPdashbard plugins addnew saerch for SEO Fraemwork
If SEOFramework is installed and you are using GeneratePress I am not sure what is missing.
I would contact Site Suppprt.

I have win 7 ultimate. I keep getting missing plug in on system when working in WA site.
That's an older operating system, obviously! I am slow to change and loved Windows 7, but I'm in Windows 10 already, and it is already obsolete, but I'll stay with it for a while because, again I am slow to change!
