Why & How to clone a post or a page with one single click
I know ... I can hear you ...
Why would I duplicate a post or a page?
Well, just a few examples ...
- occasionally, when you want to re-design or enhance your site, you may want to simply copy & paste existing settings or content pieces
- creating a duplicate post or page will allow you to work on it without affecting the already published live version
- you can use the cloning feature to work simultaneously on multiple different drafts of the same post or page in order to find and produce the optimal outcome
- and more importantly, you'll be able to create an initial "frame" for a new post or page, transferring all the important elements and attributes such as page template, SEO data, content structure, formatting, featured image, etc.
All in all, it's an extremely useful feature that can help you in many different ways ... and can save you a lot of time ...
So I've decided to create a short tutorial where I will show you how easy is to duplicate your existing posts and pages on your Wordpress website.

my impression when I saw the word "clone" I thought the article was cloning humans. I am sorry my friend, but I love future technology..
ha ha ha. I already found the help. I thought I was not alone in cloning humans. Somebody has to break the barrier. Cloning will come sooner or later. It is the future technology. My friend "live a long and prosper life."
