This is why we can see a constant increase in the number of food blogs, restaurant websites, etc, and this is why each day millions and milliond of people search the web for recipes.
And no wonder, the search engines are making constant efforts to improve their recipe search algorithm in order to help people find the best recipes. They are using something called Schema Microdata Formatting in order to generate SEO-friendly recipe search results like this:

The problem with these recipe sites is they all seem to feel they need to tell some (boring) story about how they made the roast, how grandpa liked it, etc etc. I found a great chrome plug-in that skips all of this and pulls the recipe out right away! LOL. I know terrible attitude for a blogger, but hey, I want the recipe, not the background, when I am cooking.
Tha ks. I use WP Recipe and it produces metadata that leads to Rich Pins in Pinterest. It is supposed to be SEO friendly. Is it the same thing?
