just looking for a good easy to make a site that can fit my needs so im just wondering if anybody has used this and what thier opnion of it is
Yes I made a website there... not near as easy as wordpress. It's not worth your time (a lot of time) stay with WA.
I've played around with it ... good for making squeeze/landing pages. Not near the flexibility that WordPress offers!
Cheers, Joe
Hey Tammy,
WIX is popular because they spend tens of millions of dollars a year advertising, but the service is horrible. The sites that are created by WIX are some of the worst out there, they lack functionality, do not rank, and they should not be used to run an affiliate business.
Stay well clear of wix. Use your free websites here at Wealthy Affiliate if you're after a great platform to build your website on. Free sites here at WA run on WordPress which is the worlds most popular, supported, and easy to use website platform.
Hope this helps,
Carson

I have set up WIX websites for clients that want to be able to maintain their own site and just want to be able to validate their business to someone who asks them if they have a website.
I got good support from WIX, but all the "free" websites are extremely limited. They are only "free" for a year. There is no access to cPanel. Search engines donʻt like them, so it is hard to rank their sites. I consider them similar to Rubix in that they are sub-domains. The comparison stops there, because Rubix provides you a WordPress platform and much more flexibility. I wonʻt work with anything other than WP. Kyle recommends starting with Rubix and then when your site is ready to monitize, to buy your URL and convert to a primary site. That is not possible with WIX, WEEBLY or any of the other "free" sites out there.
