2019 Goals - Getting Started
Well, the new year is here and I am not one to make "resolutions". This year though, I feel compelled to put some things down on paper and stick to them. I sometimes get distracted with all the goings on here in the community, like taking too much time to choose the image for this post. That is one of the top items on my list for the new year...time management.
Sometimes I get overwhelmed with things I need to get done. I work full time and have two teenagers, so being overwhelmed is pretty easy sometimes.
This year, my focus is on time management, getting things done and moving on to the next. I plan to write everyday, even if it's just a little bit, even an outline. I figure if I spend a little bit of time writing every single day, then more posts will come of it.
My wife and I are in the process of converting our spare room into an office, so I will have a place to go and focus on the things I need to get done. This applies to my website and my life in general. I feel that locking myself in a room for a few hours will help me get more done and then I can leave it there and not carry all of this "stuff" with me all the time.
So my focus is on time management, oh and more veggies of course :)

It’s a juggle isn’t it with work and kids, and trying to fit in work on sites. Like you I don’t make resolutions, but I am in the process of setting some goals that are actionable and time bound.
I’m starting a spreadsheet so I can track my goals and achievements this year. I want to be more organised this year given the lack of time I have, it’s all about being super efficient with my time.

I am finding that writing even a little bit, when I have a few minutes can be really helpful. Just to get the ideas out there.

time management is an excellent focus #1, without it I flail around aimlessly, so it's a great choice for anyone!
