If 75% of the traffic on your website is from Pinterest, do you just assume that most of the referrals are through that source, or is there a way to discover exactly where the

Hi, it's actually pretty easy :)

You can use "pretty links" (a plugin that you add to your WordPress website) to create separate links to each source (for the same affiliate link). Then you will be able to see on the statistic page of 'Pretty Links' how many clicks came from each link.

If you like to get even more information (for example from which country or type of device), you can use a similar service like bitly.com

Great question. I've save this for many of the answers that were given. I'll refer back to this when the time comes. I'm not quite at that stage yet.

Good thinking.

I dont know they could from any where

Thank you for your help.

Most of the links that you get from affiliate programs give you a spot where you can put a "click ref" - a code of your choosing which can help you identify the referral source. Add that into your links and it will help you significantly.

Thank you, Jeannine. I will look into that.

Good Q, and I, too, am eager to hear from those who know...

Hi! Are you referring to a links in Pinterest and then links on other sites? In WA, you can create Tracking Links. Then use specific tracking links on specific pages, pinterest, etc. Then you can look at the number of referrals that had specific tracking links. I have not tried this on WA. I have tried it on another affiliate site and it works pretty good.

I will have to find that. It sounds good. Thank you.
Sheila

Yes you can through Analytics. Go there click on acquisition then social tab. Once there you can set your social goal to measure where your source actually coming from. You only get the data after the date you set social goal and going forward. Hope this help.

Thank you. I will work on that.
Sheila

You could look at your Pinterest analytics. That will show you which pins were clicked on and how many times. If you set your Pinterest account up as a business, pinterest analytics will be available to you.
Hope this helps.

Thank you. I will get the Pinterest set up as a business.
Sheila

Thanks, this sounds ideal...
