Website is 3 weeks old and I am getting hits from PORN SITES?
Hey, my WA chums!
I have a website at the moment with the aim of helping people with public speaking anxiety. It is 3 weeks old and I am just filling it with content etc. I am ranked in Google but not getting any organic traffic yet.
- Can anyone explain why I am getting all these hits from these "sharing" sources?
- How do they get my URL?
- Can I block these?
- Why am I linked with a porn site??
Other than creating content I have not done any "black hat" SEO none-sense.
I am purely concentrating on content. Would appreciate any input to find out why I am being bombarded with these "hits"
Cheers guys!
P.S
I've gone YEARLY with my membership ! Boom!

Have you installed the Akismet plugin that usually blocks robots.Good advice from Marion. Gilles
I see you have gotten some excellent answers! Congratulations on your Yearly Membership!
These are robots that are visiting your website and they cause a high bounce rate (not good). You can block these robots in Google Analytics. See 'https://www.youtube.com/watch ?v=Lrz5dVEaT7Y' (remove the space and the quotes - they're only there so I can post it) for a demo of how to block one robot. Then do the same for them all. ~Marion
I have also noted the "simple share buttons" one on my analytics. I have not paid much attention to the rest, but I think I will go back and take a more careful look!
Hi, - I've just set my filters, - and I had several ''simple share buttons'' ones, - should I delete that plugin and look for a better one?
