Branding myself
Hello Wa,
I hope that you had a wonderful weekend.
I learned a lot this weekend while I was re-doing my images for my website.
Well, I didn't learn but I most certainly realized.
I realized how much branding is important for our websites.
It's important that, when we do add images, that they all have something in common.
Whether it be the size, the color and/or the style of the image, it's important to be consistent with them.
This is something that I wasn't aware of when I started my website. I just thought that any image, as long as it was high quality, would do the job.
Well, nope. It doesn't do the job. Now that I am re-working and adding new images to all of my posts, I recognize how important the images are. My website now has such a nice flow to it and you can tell that I have a brand now.
So there is always a reason behind a negative event. My negative event was losing all of my images on my website but now, I realize that it needed to happen in order for me to understand how truly important they are/were, for my website.
I'm still not finished but I will be by the end of the week.

Hello Sonia and good to hear from you and especially this blog about Images - As you know I LOVE images and I always try and pick the best image to suit what I am writing about but as you say it maybe good to have a look through and do a revamp!!!
Hello Paul! Thanks and yes, I think it is a good idea. As for me, I didn't have a choice but it turned out to be a good thing.
it is great that you have turned a bad experience into a positive one, and it does make you think that some things do happen for a reason!
