Hey everyone,
I want to integrate a forum on my site (http://movie-reviewz.com). The site is about movies in general and I would like to know what you would want in a movie

Hey there, Sirio!

As a lover of film and cinema in general, I'd probably look for a few things -
-Forums dedicated to discussing different genres, from sci-fi to horror, to action, etc. This would be pretty important. You don't have to include every single obscure genre out there, just think of the top 4 or 5 that you can think of, then have another area dedicated to "other genres".
-A general discussion forum, for people to hang out in case they make friends on there.
-Aspiring filmmaker idea hangout thread/forum. Some of the people most attracted to film and movies in general are people who want to make them for a living! Whether they have the backing of a company or they are indie film makers, it'd be in your best interest to include a place for them to pitch ideas around. You could even take part if you wanted to.

Hope this helped a bit - as far as a plugin for forums, I have no clue. I don't use forums on my website, personally, as I don't get enough traffic. Hopefully someone else can chime in here. Good luck, Sirio!

Thank you for the answer, this really helps me a lot! This are some good ideas :)

Just don't stop with creating content! Try to write about 5 articles per each topic (for example write more articles about the witcher 3). That will help you to rank better!
Another thing you should do is some SEO guides and make you a checklist, what you have to do for every article.
And last thing i can reccomend to do, every time you have a new article, is to submit the link to reddit and stumbleupon!

And don't give up! Success could be just one step further.

Yesterday I had a little success: I got 100 users on my site on one day and that's nice to see!

If I can help you in some way just let me know (message me)

I have a new website in Wordpress (offline).
I can upload all files with FTP but not the database.

You should contact support by putting in a ticket. Go over to the light blue SiteRubix button on the left to enter a support ticket.

Thank you Debra! I already did.

Hi SMwaura an vic62, thank you for the answers !
Yeah, 1 month sounds right.

HI, As SMwaura said - you will need to sign up as an amazon affiliate and any sales created through your link will be credited to your account. I think, however, that the Amazon cookie is stored for One month only and not for unliited time.

Hi, I am an affiliate with amazon. This is my experience unless otherwise.
>As long as they were directed to amazon via your affiliate link, and buys some things, you will get a commission on any item they buy!
>No time limit. Most visitors will add to wish list the products you may have shared to buy later. Whatever time they buy you will still get a commission.
>Yes, you will still get a commission if someone buys something different from the originally shared link.

Hope that helps. But I welcome any other experience.

Hi everyone,

since we build websites to make money with them, we place some advertising in it... But what is the right placement and when is it to much? Would really appreci

It really all depends on what you are doing with your site, and what you are promoting. If you are promoting your own products, then you don't need very many advertisements. All advertisements must be consistent with your brand and your niche. You do not want advertisements distracting your visitors to make smaller purchases or disregard the content you have prepared etc. You may not need advertisements at all. You want a list to market to, through gather names and emails more than you want to make a quick buck. Once you have a list you can promote to them once you have determined there interest level and know that they can handle the promotional emails. This questions truly is a loaded question but is very important. It all comes down to what you are doing and how you are planning to make more. If you would like any clarification just let me know, all the best.

Thank you for the answer! Well my site is about movies and i link them to amazon instant video... but i don't believe that many people will buy there (i wouldn't)

So the next what I thought about was Google Adsense ... I don't know... It's still not activated (because i just created the account)...

If you could make a look: http://movie-reviewz.com

Google Adsense would one ad be in the Header, one in the footer and one on the right side...

Just talk with My Grizzly Mentor. His advice is low = retargeting and high traffice = credit card advertisements. (If you can promote scotiabank because they promote movies.http://www.scotiabank.com/ca/en/0,,91,00.html ) Let me know if you could use more feedback. I remember chatting with you earlier, hopefully things are coming together for you. Talk to you later.

Hmm.. interesting, will look over it tomorrow! (here in Italy it's Tuesday evening) Yeah for the first week I made a big progress (including that I spend everyday only 2-3 hours because I work full time)
The next thing is to do is to higher my ranks and get traffic and then to look how i can monetize my website the best way ;) Thanks for the help, maybe will ask tomorrow something!

Kyle has covered this in lessons. just go through Certification Courses. See also what other people are doing (many use too many, me included). You will usually have a couple of banners in the sidebar, and then in the text nearly the same. But this may depend on the type and length of the text etc.

I am in Course 3 now, so I think this thematic will be explained soon. Thank you! Yeah, that's why I asked this question because sometimes I go on websites and it's just too much... for me then it looks a bit unprofessional... (here my website: movie-reviewz.com)

Here is one of my recent blogs where number of links was discussed: I know that Loes has one post with more than 150 links and this is her successful one.

Thank you, interesting post!

Hi everyone,

first question: Is Google AdSense a good way to monetize your website? Some experiences?
(i have a site all about movie: reviews, quotes... movie-reviewz.com

So... You can add AdSense with plugins (there are many choices) or how I did: I added a text-widget in my site and copied the HTML-Code from AdSense into it. Because I am a fresh member of AdSense the ad doesn't show yet... it takes some time!

Check some of these
