I really struggle to hit the 1000 word goal in each post. I'm trying to determine if it is just my selected niche or if I need more knowledge. Do you hit the 1000? Are you co

hi Dawn, it can be hard when we start out creating online content, it can be that thing that can break us and the reason that many folks give up.
When I first arrived I had real difficulties, show-stopping struggles, writing like anything is about practice the more we do it the better we get, once we find our voices we can express the message that we have inside us.
Try not to stress about it, I found just starting out slow and small worked, it is surprising how quickly we can build confidence.

Not sure if you are using site content, there is an excellent template in there that helps you to create a 1000 word article by breaking it down into bite-size chunks.

All the best you can do this, just a matter of writing and building up as you go.

Alex

Thanks Alex.
I am using the template but still struggle to hit 1,000. I feel the content I have is good and really wonder if not hitting the 1,000 will hurt

I consistently hit the 1000 word goal without too much difficulty. It's important to remember though, I've been working as a freelance writer for over a decade.

Let me see if I can offer you a few tips to help you out a little bit.

1. Anytime you're writing content for your niche, think about the next 3 to 5 questions that your visitor may ask and answer them.

Often, by breaking down your articles in this manner you'll find that you're able to hit and surpass a thousand words with ease.

2. If you find yourself stumped for questions, go to where people are already asking them.

For physical products, head over to Amazon and look at the questions on the products themselves.

For nonphysical niches, sites like Quora and Yahoo Answers are wonderful places to find out what your audience is wanting more information about.

3. Don't over complicate it. Just write your posts like you're talking to your best friend.

Not only will you find your conversions skyrocketing, but you also discover that the words seem to just flow onto the page.

I struggled with this one for the longest time, always trying to be too professional. Now, I find that when I sit down to write a post I generally spend more time editing and trimming down the word count than I do on actually writing the initial post.

I hope these tips help you out some, and best wishes to you as you move forward with your online business.

Thank you very much. This will help me greatly. Very good advice and I will for sure use
