Lesson Learned – When We Get Freebies

Last Update: August 29, 2020

We Don't Value Them sometimes. Yet We Always Should.

As I type this post "mask off", confessing to my shameful and most likely, costly ignorance. I think of Annelise Keating in the TV series finale “How to get away with murder”. The phrase “mask off” reminds me of her pleading speech before the jury. Except for, this post has nothing to do with the Series.

For all, I know,
One could be thousands of dollars richer by now.

A few months ago, WAmily members got free access to the Digital Marketing Launchpad. A
joint ebook by none other than Dave and Heidi. If you were among the squad that got it, whether you read the book or not; well, I did back then. And even wrote a review for it. What I didn’t do was to practice what I learned from it.

What a shame.

After reading an email from Dave a few months ago I decided to take another look at the book. And this time I really did put it into practice.
A few weeks later, and I've almost finished the very first digital product that I created by following the steps laid out in The digital marketing launchpad! After a few “practise what you preach” fabulous punches from Dave.

I learned a LOT of invaluable life-changing lessons during the product creation process. I also realised that it really is possible to create your own digital products and it’s not just something that the gurus do!

The next part of the process is to sell it so I am currently creating my first ever sales page. Once I have that done, then I hope to soon be able to tell you about my first ever sale of my own product!

Happy Weekend Folks!

Good information Sipheny, I have already checked out the page of Heidi and Dave. This is some very good information. We need to know how to create our own products. Thank you for sharing.

You're welcome Eugene 🙂. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. A lot of discoveries and more lessons. There're small details one may take for granted when creating a product that requires additional skills. Thankfully, Dave helped me cruise through with less difficulty.

You're absolutely right, Sipheny. I created some of these digital books and they are fun to do. The best program to do that with, at least in my opinion, is Scrivener. It creates your whole story, with pictures, in 30 seconds. Thanks, Sipheny for all this information.

What a golden nugget! I just checked Scrivener now, Joss. It's the first time I'm hearing about it. And the kind of app I'll enjoy using🤩.
Thank you so much!
