4 Websites To Use To Get The Best Out Of Your Images For Your Websites

I don't know if anyone else does this before uploading images to their websites but as you know that the better the optimisation of images the better your site will run.

I know that if you go through site content that they compress images for you but what is the harm in doing it yourself before you put them up so these are the sites I use to Resize, Compress, And even when I need it I will give some images a Transparent background which sometimes looks much better on my posts

These sites are free to use and the links here are not my affiliate links just so you know I won't get any commission for sending you there.

The first one is to resize images and that is http://resizeimage.net/

The next site I use is to compress my images which is the most important and that is https://tinypng.com/

The 3rd one I use is to convert images to any file you need to like png or jpg, etc etc and that is https://image.online-convert.c...

The last one I use is for the transparent background for images which is pretty easy to use and that is https://www.lunapic.com/editor...

I hope that some of these sites help you a little, They have been brilliant for me not knowing what I am doing on the computer as well as others here.

If anyone knows a better way, and free to do all this I would appreciate it if you could let me know,

Cheers

Matthew

Glad I could help :)

I've only ever used MS Picture Manager. I didn't know about these sites, so appreciate you sharing them Matthew! I've now got this bookmarked, so I can use these in the future. Thanx Again :-)

Like I said I use these myself but don't know if there is an easier way but it does the job for me :)

I use TinyPNG for most images and it work really well. ~mark

Yes it does :)

Hey Matthew, thank you, I'm bookmarking this and will try them out, Very helpful.

Pleasure :)

Here is what I use. In Microsoft Documents images are saved in Pictures.
Click on selected image it goes to Microsoft Picture Manager
Edit Picture
Edit using these tools - on right hand side
Change picture size underneath edit tools

This has tool to compress pictures.
When you select compress go up page and see
Compress for and you can select the option.
Save back into picture document.

That sounds very complicated to me, lol but thanks :)

It is very easy simple, don't have to change to different websites. Take a look!

Hi Matthew, I only use resize image. Does it also compress the picture?

Not as much as it could be compressed

Oh, ok I'll need to use tinypng to do the compressing then. Thanks!

Sometimes resizing an image makes the compression bigger, like this one I have just resized.

Awesome, good share Mathew, thanks.

No probs Alex

Thank you so much for the help. I have work with the others but the one I really appreciate help with is the transparent background. Thank you so much, I'm going to play around with that one!!

Glad I could help :)

This is great and I have saved this to my favorites.

Thanks,
Rick

Cool, but I thought that the images in Site Content were already optimized. I've not used the sites you listed yet. Maybe i should.
Grant

Yes I did mention that in the blog but sometimes the images there are just too big for what I want so I use the resize image site :)
