So, I have been with Wealthy Affiliate for TWO WEEKS now... I'm loving it btw ;)
3 days ago I created a website through what I have learned from both WA and Jaaxy.
Here is a snapshot of my truly unexpected results!!
My website is already bouncing around in google between page 4 & 5 for my keyword.
As usual, I am sure that everyone result will vary... My First site is taking a bit longer. but I have faith :)
Will keep you posted on progress....
But YEAH, so far I have 100% faith in WA. Thanks guys.

google dropped to page 6, BUT Bing is showing my website on page 1 in 4th position.

First sign up to WA from website. Still tracking which one, but things are happening and WA is living up to it's name!
UPDATE 09 August 2015
So I decided to merge the above mentioned website with my main website, whatsthebestwaytomakemoneyonline.com a few weeks ago. I noticed a drop in SERP, but this was expected.
WHAT WAS NOT EXPECTED was now that all had settled, I posted a new review and in UNDER 18 HOURS was ranking for 5 different keywords from position 11 to 44 on Google.
This is yet again proof to me that Wealthy Affiliate is not just for show... The results are there!
I should add that I recently got my website very active on Facebook (One step at a time)... Here is my blog post regarding this https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/marcparsons/blog/i... There is no harm in growing your social pressence... At least here, you will have the support of WA members.

Congrats! Good job of selecting the keywords and then putting them to use in your original content! It is nice to see that what everyone is teaching here really works. Sometimes a classroom curriculum does not translate well into real life. Definitely not the case with WA! Two thumbs up!

Awesome, nice work on the rankings and this is going to be more and more commonplace as you continue building content out on your website.
As you can see you are starting to get indexed and ranked within Google, this means you are also getting some good authority. As this accumulates, your rankings will only continue to go up!

Had a look and it's an awesome start! Loads of content.
Some pictures may break up the content. I like to add at least a screenshot here and there just for a break from reading. even with these, I think I tend to still type too long though
Something else that I found myself doing was "copying" other articles, but completely putting them in my own words to get the structure of my review slightly more appealing from people with experience.

for some more Ideas, but keep in mind that you will want to stay focused on the content.
Also.... your own domain is going to be cheap to get... spend time on the keyword you want to focus on... not days, but enough time to be confident of high traffic/ low competition.
'It may be worthwhile getting to this point after you reach the video training for it. will make finding a solid keyword easier.

Besides the url, the site title and page title, which for the most part can be done in your All in One SEO plugin. I did not really focus on the keywords to be honest.
What may have added to the quick visibility by google is that I manually notified them about it via google webmaster, as well as the length of the article. Even in my opinion it is a bit long for comfort - but therefore has loads of content.
I am still new here though, so look forward to hearing the more seasoned WA members opinions.

I'm not a big fan of social media, facebook and all that but that's just me. I find it's more noise than anything. It hard to cut through all that noise to find your audience.
To many people sharing boring useless information adding to all the already loud useless noise of social media. But again that's just me.
But as for the WA, it's different. By sharing here not only can your posts be ranked in the search engines, the whole community has the opportunity to share your content.
So it's a different form of networking and one that can really work in your favor.
And like all content making sure it has value and information people can use is of utmost importance.
The WA has the power to raise your profile if done properly and within the WA rules. Good on you.

Isn't social media and face book important to have people read what you have to say? How are you comparing noise to what?
Boring, useless information as you stated is only boring to you but, maybe not to others who read it. I guess it depends on how the wording affects someone.
Why would we want to keep you posted if it is boring for you? What or how would you rather read out post?

Hey Lora.
I know your comment was directed at Leo, but maybe I can help explain.
Facebook and other social media is for the most part flooded, and I do mean flooded with spam and automatic posting of adverts.
It becomes fairly difficult to get decent engagement on your posts and ads between all the other posts (Noise) as you will often be looking for newcomers... whereas social media often revolves around your close network of friends.
With a website, you are able to target and engage with your readers (New and old) on specific topic that they have searched...
If your posts are on the first page, there's a certain level of trust already, because Google generally does not allow just any website on the first page results. Plus, you are listed above all the other noise out there.
All that being said, I still feel social networks hold value and should not be completely overlooked, but from a marketing aspect, you are far better off making your website priority number 1. It will drive far more leads in the long run to your offers.
Hope this helps to explain where Leo may be coming from. I don't believe he was directing boring noise at personal social network profiles, but more at the spammers out there.
