I have asked for a comment on my WA review post and l got this comment:

”I think you put a lot of time and effort into your website, it was very nicely written and

I agree with Dale123 100% it's your site and with you asking the community it's pretty obivous that you realize this is an appropriate site feedback post and not a site comment post.

However, if you decide to decline the post it might be a nice gesture to reach out to the member and maybe point out the difference. The might want to redo the comment and make it more fitting to your blog and not your website as a whole.

Hope this helps,

Calvin

No! I would trash that comment. It does not add value to your website and is not in the spirit of what site comments is for. A PM would have been a better way to go if they want to express this opinion.

Site comments should be supportive and add value and not be negative in nature.

You are the authoritative administrator of your own site and you have right to or not to approve that.
Cheers

I would consider this feedback.

Hi, ShuiHyen.

To answer your questions truthfully: Please, do not publish this comment.
While the original poster surely meant well, trying to give advice, s/he should have chosen to do so in a private message. Alone the fact that s/he mentioned that it seems you're trying to sell something too hard will hurt your website. People will lose trust, and question if that statement is actually true.

I really hope this helps.

Many blessings to you,

Keryn

This what l have thought of and definitely google won't love it. We provide solutions to our readers and not hard sales. It's logic to place a CTR in our post so people can act on it.

Thank you.

Of course, you should never approve such a comment. You can be nice and explain why, but this is not what site comments are about.

Seems like that person is giving you feedback instead of a comment. However, it's your choice to do what you think is right. If you are doubtful then don't.

it is your call

No this is site feedback, not site comments politely explain this in your rejection.

You cant have this published on your site and if you approve the commentor will not no they are making a mistake

Your site your rules....

If you don't like it, don't approve it.

Hey Shui Hyen,

You might find a resolution that works by Google searching your error message and then reading through a few of the posts offering assistance with this issue. See screen print below...

Hope you find this helpful.

Thank you Triblu,

According to Hotspot, there is a bad link URL in the post body. I will go through all the links again in the post and resubmit for validation.

Really appreciated for the help.

Zayn.

I have not experienced this yet, but hope you get it sorted

Today l have requested for comment on my Wealthy Affiliate Review post and someone leaves a comment. It reads like this:

”Well off Offshoot Audit I think this blog

What a load of crap. Disapprove it.
Regards
Janet

WOW - do not accept it. It's either spun content which isn't worth anything or the person who wrote it has a very limited knowledge of English. I think it's the first one.
WA management should look into this as well because it wastes everyone's time.

I am very surprised to hear that it was submitted through site comments here. I would not have expected that to be possible as is typical spun content. The only explanation I can think of is that the person who submitted the comment is not that familiar/confident with English.

Hi Shui Hyen,

If you have requested comments through Site Comments, then the member who placed the comment needs some guidance with regard to placing comments.

For you, I would reject the comment and quite rightfully so.

From the writing point of view, it has the appearance of spun content.

Reject it and move on hopefully it is an isolated incidence.

Thank you, Alex, for your kind feedback.

I would trash it. It is not a useful comment.

Reads like a bad english test, I would trash it.
Was it from a WA member?

Yes, it's from a WA member because l requested it through SiteComment.

It might also be, the one who commented has a different language.. it was translated differently:)

I hope so, but l concurred with the majority here.

Thank you.

Spam, I would disapprove it with the message that it is obvious spam.

spam typical bad use of words I wouldn't accept it I would delete

It's comment spam, and it's been spun so the English is atrocious.

Just trash it.

Now we're paying for comment to other people, but l get to know that given site feedback also earn Cash Credit. It’s that true and how much per feedback we get paid.

Hey, thank you for answering my question, but l just want some clarification is that give feedback ( via site feedback ) to other people website does earn us CASH credit?

I know it earns credit for feedback on your own website, but I'm not sure about cash credit.

Cash credit is only for site comment and you have to be a certified commenter to earn.

Hi Shui, I think DebbieRose answered your question.

You got some good information

Mary

This explanation from Carson should clear things up.

Peter gives a good answer which is also my understanding

Thank you for the information very informativative.

Hi Shui. My understanding is that in true WA style you pay it forward by giving 2 comments so that you earn 1 credit to request a comment or website feedback. Or you do have the option to purchase WA credits but I feel that’s not really staying true to the WA principle of paying it forward.
But you can also give comments and build up your credits and then transfer them into monetary value. I believe it’s $0.50 per credit.
I hope this clears it up for you.
Have a great day
Peter

Yes, now give site comments will earn you cash credit, while giving site feedback you will earn only community credit that can't be paid out.

But l understand from some members here they mention that community credit earned on site feedback can be cash out. How true is that.

Sorry Shui I thought you could cash out both. Sorry can't be more help
Peter

Why can’t I link my website to Google Analytics using Yoast plugin and unable to verify using the Google Analytics method.

Pls help.

You need to verify your website first (checking if you are owner)
Best is to follow explanations in your all in one seo plugin

I have verified my website with the html. Tags but cannot verify via google analytics. I’m using the Yoast plugin for this website and no where I can place the Google Analytical code.

I abandonned yoast for that reason... too much problems all along and no good explanation

All in one seo is top, great explanations too

Considder changing...

Is there any problem when I switch AIOSEO now

Depends...
Better ask site support

Hi ShuiHyen,

How long has it been verified for? It takes a day for them to start to collect data and display it.

- Glen B

Hi Glen,

It has been more than 2 weeks. I try to verify using Google Analytics but my verification was failed. I don’t know where to put the Google Analytics Code in the Yoast Plug-in unlike the AIOSEO plugin.

This is kind of a work around but if you go to appearance, then editor. Then in the right find the header.php

At the very top paste your code.

Save

This will allow google analytics to validate.

Let me know how this works for you or if you have any other questions.

- Glen B

Is your site verified by Google?

Yes, it has been verified by GSC with html tags but the Data captured in Google Analytical is empty.
