I'm SO Excited!
A few years ago, I had an idea. I knew that, eventually, I would have to retire from the physical aspect of Massage Therapy. And while I’m not there yet, it’s looking like things are coming together!
It all started with me searching online for, something, anything to help me get to my destination, and it took me 2-3 years when I found WA last year. (I’ll get to my real excitement soon, I promise).
I wanted to do Online Tutoring, and teach courses, for Massage Therapy, and Body Work, but I didn’t have the ‘How.’ WA has given me that piece of the puzzle.
The Awesome Sauce
With the help of Council, I got my $#^t together, and applied for Instructor Privileges for the 5 courses, and materials I will need, from 2 Educational Groups!!
As of today, I have been APPROVED!!
Fear Factor
I’ve been reading quite a bit about Fear of Failure lately on Forum.
My block has been a Fear of Success. (Go figure)! I’ve been successful in the past, and it takes a lot of work to get to the top and stay there.
This last year has been learning to concur that. This time I’m working for ME, not for staff, not to keep the doors open, and not for recognition from The Chamber. I’m also not juggling a relationship with a business partner and their needs.
It’s OK to be successful! (Zen Squirrel told me so)!! And you can do it more than once! (Who Knew)?
Challenges
We all have them. I saw a list today about this topic.
There are real challenges, and perceived challenges.
In going through my list, I realized that most of my hurdles are perceived. 95% to be exact.
The other 5%? I may have to ask for help, for a change, and suck it up! (Asking for help is one of my ‘issues’).
Concurring Fear
“Self, what is the WORST thing that could happen?” I asked.
“It flops,” I answer.
“And…?” I ask.
“What if it works?” Oh boy, now we hit something…
Rewards
By creating this income stream, not only will there be a bit extra, it will eventually replace my other income, and I CAN retire from the physical aspect of what I do!
Wrapping my head around that, created a calmness, as opposed to anxiety, regarding success!
Regarding the ‘flop’… I will never surrender!
What are you really afraid of? Success? Failure? (Spiders/ Snakes, etc. are NOT valid answers)!

Hey S. This is a very yummy post. Plenty to ponder but not for long because as people read it, they will have a few innner epiphanies and their day might well just be one of repeated revelations.
'Primary' question material. You continue to ask the 'What if ?' or maybe, more appropriately, 'Then what?' question, until you've broken it right down. Not everyone can do it but if you can, then striding forward is what happens.
A new chapter is beginning and your excitement is tangible through your post.

I bet you really cannot watch the old Godzilla vs. Mothra movie. I love those old movies of that genre. So badly made but so entertaining. Unless you are scared of moths. Or giant radioactive lizards.

WA helping me in the same WAy Shaunna. I am using it to take my very successful one-on-one Personal Training/Nutrition business to exclusively online.
That way I have the absolute freedom to work when and where I want(Kyiv) and to take on as many clients as I can handle.
One-on-one is very seasonal but online makes it year-round.
More clients = more revenue. Thanks WA.

Bring the squirrels. My 115 lb. half-Rottweiler/half Blue Tick Coonhound only knows(or listens) to 3 words. Treat, out, and squirrel. I can say "squirrel!" and she runs to every tree in the yard and looks up, runs around the tree 3 or 4 times then heads to the next tree. So funny.
