An Unintended Experiment SAC
Without planning on it, I ended up in an Experimental Variable. The results were shocking!

Blind Test Subject 1: SAC Website

Control Variable: Submitting to Pinterest
Hypothesis: No Effect
In a completely blind (unintentional) test, I set about building my SAC Site, and have continued to build it. Same with my Massage Site.
From January to April my Pinterest numbers were at 1.2K+ views, and climbing at a fairly steady pace. These numbers had also proven to have a positive effect Google, and Bing.
In this Blind Study, our (please, the Squirrels deserve some credit for this) focus has been on Keywords, Content, and Formatting.
Test Subject 2 has suffered a bit, as one of the controls, best known as TIME, has been downgraded for now. However, Test Subject 1 seems to be flourishing.
In the testing, today, I have discovered numbers that just weren't coinciding with the past, and went to check 'the why' behind the change.
A decrease in Search Engines, and Pinterest as well. (Pinterest has dropped to 528, as of today)... how did this happen???
I never really expected Pinterest to be a number driver, and I'm not really sure if it is, but I will be correcting this Variable, as the Data seems to support the change...
So what happened?
I haven't been posting to Pinterest!! (Or Pinning as the case may be). I have been forgetting to do this step!!
CONCLUSION
'Pinning' does seem to have some benefits to traffic...
Back to Pinterest I go!!

Yes, I think you're right. Although I have no data to support my support, I have found that 'presence' drops on the search engine results if I have been remiss in 'pinning'. Site post,pin,tweet, FB page, FB share timeline, remind other half to share. If I remember.
I'm not a big FB user anymore... I may have to try and find the Data on that.
As for Twitter, I will have to Blind Study Tweeting, as I am not as familiar with little internet birds... I thank Hitchcock for my phobia!
Didn't Mr.H do 'cameos' like Stan Lee ? FB is purely share. Twitter, well now they've doubled the length, no it's still to short, no waffle room.

I think I need to get back to my Pinterest account now!! Lol... it's so time consuming. I think social media is a full-time job on its own. But it can be rewarding. Thanks for the reminder.
Best wishes on that. Social Media definitely drives traffic, but I decided to concentrate on getting my content up on my site so there is more for visitors to see. Then I'll get back to Social Media.
