About to Be Bounced
Amazons Affiliate Program sent an email… yep, I have less than 30 days, or I will be bounced out of the Program. Such is life in the Marketing World.
There was a time, at the beginning of this Journey, that this would have sent Rabid Squirrel into an absolute tailspin… Tasmanian Devil Style.
Maybe I’ve been hanging out with Zen and Knowledge more frequently than I thought… or I finally get ‘Don’t sweat the small stuff’ rule.
Is being ‘Bounced’ small stuff? For me, today, it is.
I have been looking for other programs that fit my Niche site better than Amazon anyway, so I’m not all that heartbroken about this. Reapplying is an option, after (I think) 30 days, so again, I’m not completely torn up about this.
In my haste, and panic, I joined Amazon, and a few other Affiliate Programs WAY too soon. No traffic, or content, to speak of, and absolutely no idea what I was doing.
Joining Amazon did give me a boost though. I discovered a ‘little secret trick’… I’m now going straight to the supplier, or manufacturer, and applying to their Affiliate Programs if they have any, if not, I keep looking… research hours seem to be where my time goes these days! Another tidbit, at least in my Niche, I have found that many of the ‘offerings’ on Amazon are inventory blowouts, discontinued, or new launch products. By going direct to the source, I have found that the ‘pay scale’ is better, and customer selection is better.
Then came the New Affiliate Program Search!! Talk about another WA Member Boost!! I can’t wait to REALLY start working with this feature! I’ve been playing around with it, and I’m trying my best to maximize it!
As for a SAC update…
I’m a bit behind, but I do have the FUD (first ugly draft) on my last posts, so I should be able to catch up fairly quickly.
I do have some editing to do, as I discovered that I have, almost, NO internal links! How did I miss putting those in??!!
Like some, I am having time constraints when it comes to ‘chatting participation’… I must find a Chat Squirrel…
Why am I behind?
I could give you the Mule Turbo Charger story again. Or tell you about the latest infection… (Hot Date Saturday… a trip to the ER, again. The man takes me to the most romantic places)!
Or I could tell you the truth… I haven’t been making full use of my time. I start to futz around, and loose time. I haven’t been adjusting my schedule when needed. Instead, I am putting things off. I will be consulting the Squirrel’s Round Table later on this matter.

I'm just glad I found 'specialty sources' for the MT side of things.
I think with a little a little 'splicing' of genes, happy to help with this if need be, you could have a squirrel for all things. Not one but many. Blog squirrel, comment squirrel, chat squirrel, second draft squirrel, snotty Amazon e-mail letter squirrel, procrastinator squirrel (if they can be bothered) You'll just need a bigger round table.
Just another round of Antibiotics and he should be fine.

Oops... when I changed the theme, they may have gotten lost in the shuffle... LOL, so no your not missing anything, I did.
It is so easy to put things off. Have been trying not to do that, with some success. At least you have drafts -- that's a big step. Good luck with the catch-up.

Cute, futzy can be good sometimes. I hope your honey recovers quickly. As for your FUD I venture to guess very intricate if you look at what the bulk of others are capable of in language and presentation. You're probably top percentile on the authorship, plus amazingly creative.
Thank you for the updates for SAC. I am trying to read up on as many as possible today because I find this inspiring, and especially your humor. A breath of fresh air on a cool but sunny spring morning. I hope my note finds you well.
