COMPLETED LEVEL 2 TRAINING

I have been a member for 13 days

I upgraded to premium 6 days ago $19 investment

I am currently following 159 friends and being followed by 106

My current member rank is 80,740

1034 as creator - 2143 as helper - 89,494 activity

Now that my site health is improving I intend to spend some time being more active within the community.

I have asked (3) questions in my profile section (more in chat etc./support)

• one was related to plagarism and what if any is acceptable.I learned how to make my content original and site sources if I need to.
• one was about the comments that I received and approved not showing up on my live site. After contacting support the issue was resolved very quickly.
• one was about using credits for feedback and not receiving that feedback. I again contacted support and did the math. I determined that the numbers were correct and that I may have missed a step somehow ie: didn't submit the final request

I have posted 5 blog posts

• I asked for opinions from the community when I had narrowed my domain name down to 3 choices. The comments I received enabled me to make my final decision.
• In training we were instructed in how to create the privacy policy and the reasons it should not be indexed. I followed the steps but still have an issue with this today. Comments on this page are enabled and I do not know why or how to fix it.
• In the beginning I inadvertenly posted the actual content of my initial about me page and also the title, description and keywords (for affirmation). I realize that this is considered spam within the community and that is a no no.
• Finally, I posted a success post when my site was indexed. Yay!

On my live site:

my niche is cannabis

• I have created 1 page (privacy policy) and 5 posts (including about me)
• I have received 8 site feedbacks
• I have offered 3 feedbacks and earned 3 credits
• I have received, approved and responded to 52 comments
  • One of the comments in particular said that people were talking about my site. The topic is a controversial one - I hope the talk is good :)
• I have offered 2 comments and earned 2 credits
• I purchased 20 credits for $10.00
• I have used the give and take thread - left comments on 3 pages and received 2 in return.

My site health is at 100% except for 60% publishing, 70% feedback and 0% trust

I assume building trust will come with time/training. I would appreciate any thoughts on this matter.

Finally, there is the issue of speed - what is good? I assume if the number is green then I am ok but I noticed when the index page showed up it has a consistently low number (particularly on mobile - like 60). I thought for a min that it had something to do with images but I am not too sure. I know the numbers were 99-100 throughout before the images and then they changed a bit.

In regards to images - I have tried to use the sites throughout the training to access copywrite free images but if by chance I add one outside one of these sources (like wikimedia commons) is it totally forbidden or if credit is given somewhat acceptable?

I have tried to answer questions from others as I go and help when I thought I could contribute effectively. I really love this platform and can attest that it works. The templates in the content section are very helpful. My gut is telling me that this is the best decision I have ever made. I have learned a tremendous amount in a very short time.

I actually have a website for my local cab company I created a little over a year ago that I learned I am doing completely wrong. That site is tracing on Google but only through ads that cost me about $40/month.

When I started this journey less than 2 weeks ago, I knew absolutely nothing about the niche. I was hesitant to start there when I have passions for other topics. You might say I wanted to see if I could handle the challenge. If I can create success with something I know nothing about perhaps I can duplicate the process with what I love. It will only get easier.

If you have made it this far in my post, kudos to you! It has been a whirlwind and there is a lot to absorb. I realize too that there a number of additional things I still have questions about scattered throughout this post. I would greatly appreciate all the help you can give so I can keep going with confidence.

I wanted to give newcomers a complete breakdown of what could happen. I have not gotten much sleep but hey I am sure that very soon I will begin reaping the benefits of my hard work to discover it was all worth it.

In 3 months I would like to have a site up and running to promote WA and I will be Vegas bound for the next trip. Can't wait to meet Kyle, Carson and Chris (Benji's dad)! I would like to close by wishing each and every one of you the best in your future endeavors.

PS: I am doing this for my four wonderful (grown children, my heart ^ (first grandson) and his brother that will grace us with his presence any day now -- and of course, myself and my tiny house/mini wini travel the country fund.

UPDATE: 3/9/2019 Shortly after this was initially posted, there was a lesson on being active in the community and helping others. WOW - at the completion of that lesson my ranking had improved to 22,466. What more proof does anyone need? Helping others, as this platform is designed, is simply the best way to grow your business and go far here in the WA community.
