Which one should I give priority to?
Higher SEO should be the goal. Because you can have lots of traffic and none will convert but when you have higher SEO, you can get your targeted audience visiting your site and this can lead to higher conversion.
Higher SEO I would say.I also STRONGLY suggest that you sign up for the webinar this Friday regarding the "hanging fruit" keywords concept.I think this will fully give you much insight into "why" SEO?
Hi Troy
Thanks for the comment. I did sign up for it, but unfortunately can't be there! Maybe I can watch it later.

Is it better to go for higher traffic or highest seo?
Which one should I give priority to?
Never never lose sight of the fact that your ultimate goal is profit and to get profit you have to maximise conversions. Your first sale is exciting your second you are jumping up and down for a week. At this point you need to start analysing how and why you got those sales and what you can do to maximise sales in the future.
Of course targeted keywords i.e. good SEO keywords will help that objective.
Thank you so much, Catherine. Do you think it is silly to use a long title? I've got Dealing With Depression Naturally, but Managing Depression Without Medication has a much better SEO (98), that even though the name is longer I decided to buy the domain.
Yes, you're right - the ultimate goal is profit. That's what gives the motivation! I've just subscribed to Jaaxy, so my costs will be that bit higher - hope it works out!
For a Domain name the shorter the better. Managing depression without medication is fine as is dealing with depression naturally. However don't put them together a domain name. In recent years a keyword rich domain name has not been as important as it used to be but of course a focus keyword will always work somewhere another put depression in your title. The shorter the domain name you can get the depression and it the better.
An excellent move to investing keyword research. Put all of your keywords from the start in a spreadsheet and write day you wrote about it and the first date was indexed and the date was ranked. That way you can keep track of your keywords. When you have 10 you can remember it when you have thousands you can't.
Thanks for that, Catherine. I'll go over what you've said and follow your advice. It's all very hazy for me right now, but I guess in time that will feel better. I'll think over what you said. Thanks!

I don't want to slow down the loading time for my website, and I've heard that file sizes should be small to avoid that, but I still want the quality. What is recommended?
Hi, I use a lot of my own images in my site on mountains. In the very beginning I was advised to keep them small so that they do not slow down my site. So I try to stay below or around 200 kB.
Perhaps I was a bit too economical, but you do not go over 300. You may have a look into my site on mountains to get some feeling.
I also use a plugin "Huge IT lightbox" which enlarges a photo when clicked on. Have a look. Jovo
Jovo, I just had a quick look (it's getting late) and your website is truly amazing! What a surprise and a delight! Well done!

Just that - I type in my url and an ad comes up, same domain name of course, saying that the name 'may be' for sale!
Hi Marion, thanks for responding - I've sorted it out now. I had put the wrong url in the link on my website. All good - thanks!!
Lol :) I keep doing this! I picked a name for my website and every time I go to view it I leave out a word!

The area is overcoming depression naturally through inner peace and reflection. This is an area I can help people with, and there are a heap of issues around it that I can post
Thanks, BeauAndNik - yes, I agree it is a tad too long. If I change the name, is it easy to transfer my content over from one domain to another? Thanks for your response!
yup sure is.. Positive there is some training here on how to transfer content. I have done it using the import and export within the wordpress dashboard itself :)
Great - thanks!! I might try to find something a little bit more upbeat - and a little shorter, and make the switch! Thank you!!
