Hey folks, I want to add an image slider to Generate Press theme (I have a GP Premium Licence). Any help would be appreciated ! :

Hi Tim,

Have you checked out the docs page for GP? I have found it to be extremely helpful in quite a few situations. They have a really extensive page - it includes articles, training and in most cases video tutorials, on every aspect of the theme.

You can find it here: https://docs.generatepress.com/

Hope you find something there that will lead you in the right direction ... and if not this time, at least you'll have an excellent resource saved for next time.

Good luck!
Best, Shan

Hi folks,
Does anyone else have this issue where no matter what you type in for the reasons to disaprove feedback it doesn't work?

Hi Tim ... Is this the site comments platform or the site feedback platform you are referring to? I don't think you can disapprove on feedback is why I ask.

If it is the site comments platform, I would try backing out and rebooting the system and possibly clear cache as suggested below. If all else fails you could just approve of the comment and then go into your back office and disapprove of it there. Course that wastes the credits you paid into the system with an approved comment.

I would also post the issue to the official bug thread so Kyle/Carson know about the issue. Good luck, Shannon

Hey
I try empty browsers cache and refresh. Hope you figure it out.

Keyword, Niche and Market Research
Updated

Hi folks,
I have found a good keyword which relates to my niche and makes human sense, however, it has a QSR of Zero. The keyword in question is:-

'what is the best

Hey folks,

Finally a catch up with this keyword. I have recently published my post based around this keyword on 9th March. I wanted to do this sooner but for other events within my life this was out of my control. Today upon checking Jaaxy I am happy to report that this post is now ranking on page 6 for this keyword in Google. I was not expecting any ranking for a while, but just goes to prove that the training here in WA does work. As I publish more posts consistently and as my site grows I will gain more authority in my niche, I expect this post to hit page 1 of Google at some point.

I am well into writing my 2nd post, and I am now aiming to publish 2-3 posts per week. I have managed to find over 2 dozen potential keywords for my niche within Jaaxy, so I will not be short of good content.

Im very excited about what the future holds, and know that with only hard work & consistency I will be successful :)

Tim

Do an incognito search using the keyword phrase and see what actually comes up. QST is QUOTED search results, not necessarily the results you'll actually find. I wrote about this on my website but I can't leave a link here. Sorry, you'll just have to do a bit of investigating to find it. Search Google for "ignore QSR".

QSR of zero means there are no competing websites using that keyword. Have a more detailed look at the first 10 entries in SERPs and if you think you can write a better post, go for it. I would think that a lot of the 3.5 million results in Google may be related to "railway" - you know, in normal times people looking for railway timetables and so forth.

you have some stiff competition to get to the top for this keyword
ok they are not exact, but google trusts those sites....
are you doing a generic model railway site or have you specialised in one area....
generic you are playing catchup with a lot of high authoriity sites
narrow then you concentrate on the parts they have brushed over....
have you done research into the niche to see the different areas people are investigating and have products for sale.
would i go for it...
if it was a new site - probably not at the moment
would i narrow it down definitely with a mind to expand in the future
good luck with your site

No you shouldn't be concerned with a QSR of zero. It just means you have zero competition and IF google recognises the keyword then you will be on front page. You AVG shows potential customers are actually using that keyword, therefore it is likely that google will recognise it eventually!

Additionally because your keyword is quite long , you actually automatically have two other decent keywords!

best baseboard for a model railway
AVG 196 QSR 0

baseboard for a model railway
AVG 104 QSR 36

Thanks Lawrence - great points there ! :)

I have added the GA plugin to Wordpress, and when I attempt to add my GA account, my site is not listed for selection?

It's there in GA, I have created a property and

I don’t need patience, I know from experience my site should be selectable and its not.

Same here! I added a new website. I remember it was the same with my first and that there were some settings that needed to be done, but I do not remember. I know there is a training about it somewhere made by a male member.

I’ve done this many times and clearly something is broken on the GA side or something has changed in GA. Surely im not the only one with this issue ....

Anything to do with Google takes time, so patience is needed. This answer will not be the answer you need but we have all been there

The Wealthy Affiliate Platform
Updated

Hi folks,

I have received the attached email claiming to be from Wealthy Affiliate - is this legit?

I did recently purchase a new Domain name via the WA platform.</

Yes, this is a genuine email. WA use ENOM as their reseller, I also use ENOM for our Clients. name-services.com is a white label address for their clients (Myself and WA etc). The actual consent is then submitted to the underlying TLD owner such as ICANN or Nominet etc.

Thanks for confirming Christopher - I thought it was legit too but wasn't 100% certain.
