Todays topics is the first in a series of quotes and teachings by both of my grandmothers ,who taught me a lot
So the name I will give this post is
SHINEPAGE GRANNY QUOTES AND TEACHINGS
So quote number one
DONT MAKE MONEY WITH SPOON, THEN USED A SHOVEL TO THROW IT AWAY !
Let explained this quote
Money will always be difficult to generate , so it make no sense to take a lot of time to generate your money , then waste it quickly
Ways in which people waste money quickly
Binge drinking
Binge smoking
Binge shopping
Binge gambling
Binge used of class A or B drugs
Living above your needs ,Like
Buying expensive designer clothes
Buying expensive cars
Paying expensive rent to live amongst the elite
Spending lots of money at night club
Been a SUGAR DADDY or a SUGAR MOMMY
Now the simple meaning of this quote is
Money is hard to generate, dont throw it away easily

Your grandparents were very wise and they imparted this knowledge to you. Thank you for sharing with us.
There is no doubt your " grandmas' " were very wise Shine. You are blessed to have had such wisdom in your life, and such love. The post is fantastic and I am touched by the fact you have such love in your heart for your family. :)
Have a good week Hent and keep on shining!
Thanks Denise, I will share anything I believe to be helpful
I will have a series of granny quotes , so look out for them
Nice one Denise
I didn't have grandparents, per se. My dad left when I was 10; there were extenuating circumstances, and I never saw him again. He moved to Denmark. I didn't see my grandparents again either. It did hurt them badly, (long story) but it was unavoidable.
I love "granny stuff." I did have my mom's side; I saw her only a few times, but she religiously wrote to me. She kind of "looked out fo rme long distance." I always loved her for that; she was really sweet. I loved her lard raspberry and blackberry pies. They were old farm, my grandparents; no electricity; a chicken coup, the whole thing. The "hard" life; my grandpa worked for "Henry Ford and RCA Victor as well as a caligrapher. I love those days Shine. I still remember visiting them when I was 5. Only saw them a couple of times after that. I do get along okay though. Especially with all of you coming into my life. It's been a blessing Shine; you have no idea. Have a good week! :) I respect you for caring and being strong the way you are.
Hello Hent,
My own experience is this.
Money is always have been easy to obtain
but it is harder to maintain especially for
those who don't have the financial education.
Remember, that is not taught in school and
so it has to be done by someone at home,
re; parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles
and most of the time when they too didn't
have the financial education, and so they
also cannot teach the next generations.
Now you do have the ability and the
capability to do just that and it is never
too late to educate the young and the
old about financial education.
The sooner the better.
Thank you for your enlightening post.
Blessings.
Elizabeth
No. She asked me what I wished I could "rename" myself; sort of a "therapy" thing. That's why. :)
