How can I imagine a heatwave correctly when we don't have it here?
We are right in the middle of raining season here in Eastern 🇳🇬.
God is a great creator, everything in its place and season. Please be safe and take care bro. Thanks for this informative post.

Godstrong , hold your horses, Nigeria may have heatwave when the midst of summer come along , Canada and parts of the US is in the middle of a heatwave
And yes god is great , that's why when one part of the earth is raining the sun is scorching on the other side

The impact of global warming is real. Let's hope that the temperature over the next few years do not continue to get hotter. Used to think we would not require suntan lotion given our melanin roots. Boy was I wrong after a long day at the beach.
Thanks for the tips Shinepage

Hugh

Nice one Hugh it's not so hot over UK but when it hot it's definitely hot
And you so right Hugh it's all about global warming , check out Australia wild fire and California wild fire
We all have to prepare for the heat
Nice one Hugh

Hold on I thought the forest fires in Cali were being started by some group pointing lasers at the trees?

Lol , that's a good one

We aren't having a heatwave here, but the weather is gorgeous.

Nice one Geoffrey , if it forcast , prepared

Shine, your so right! Thank you for reminding me to step up the water. It is fuming hot; in fact, I wonder sometimes if the witch is getting the oven ready for Hansel and Gretyl and decided to put us into it instead. I moved and I'm missing my huge double door freezer with 2 liter Coke bottles filled with frozen water; plenty of frozen ice, and lots of room for popcycles of all kinds. My new frig is a foot wide and has no room. But, I'll improvise, and you just never know when suddenly water will be gone, because of something unforeseen. Just in case, a "BathBob" can be filled to the top of your bathtub with water in case you feel water may become an emergency of some kind. I'm afraid the grid is going to fail from everyone running their AC.

Thank you for caring so much and reminding us it's not a joke to overheat. I know from experience. I roofer I lived next door to in Arizona came home vomiting one night from heat exhaustion and had to skip work the next day from fatigue.

Take care everyone; and stay cool. Thank you Shine!! Shineon...

And for the ladies out there; I found these neat thin almost like nothing on Bohemian harem loose yoga pants. They are so comfortable I live in them with a t-shirt. Check them out of you want to feel like you are wearing nothing, but have a natchy look with a pair of beach thongs. I live in them even in the summer. :)

Thanks Denise , keep yourself hydrated,

Thank you for those useful tips. I'm located in Northern California. Today the weather isn't too hot, but two days ago it was awful. Since I have asthma I couldn't even breathe while I was outside. Just decided to stay in my room for most of the day with my portable AC. Lately, I've been leaving it on and night too. LOL. Stay safe, and stay hydrated. :)

My friend lives in Crescent City; it's boiling. She is also moving right in the middle of it south a little. She's a redwood baby like me, but ocean girls. :) Laying around; it's a great day for it. I think taking it easy in this is important. Take care. :)

Oh wow, I'm located 90 minutes south drive from Fortuna. Fortuna and Eureka isn't too far way from Crescent City. I always do my shopping in either Fortuna or Eureka. I live way out in the boonies. LOL Where I'm at is in the high 80s. which isn't too bad. But a couple days ago felt like a broiling oven. You take care of yourself too. Be safe.

I used to shop at the Arcata co-op. They had the best desserts I've ever had; pastries galore like the old days; the real thing. OMG what a coincidence. I love the redwoods and area; I spent a lot of time there years ago; I grew up in Seal Beach, right next to Long Beach. Both of us beach babies lived in Surfside Colony, and it went from there. I'm stuck in the midwest; yuk; it's awful, but unavoidable at the time. Good to know you Adam. I do admit I would sure love to be standing where you are right now; it's really hot and humid here today, and there are no redwoods and no ocean to escape to for a little "down time." :)

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Adam , because you have Asthma you have to be extra careful, prepared Yourself if it get worse

Small world. Like wise. You enjoy the rest of your week too. Be safe. :)

I will. I’ll just stay indoors and come out at night. Maybe I’ll become nocturnal lol. Thank you and be safe out there too.

Thanks Adam. :)

Nice one Adam , keep safe
