I did everything in the video and no matter what I do when I visit my site there is nothing there. What am I doing wrong...I've been at this for over an hour and I can't make
Okay! First let's not get frustrated. Make sure you save all your work before leaving it. I practice saving at least 4 or 5 times before finishing a page or post.
When you go to your wordpress dashboard, you want to click on add a new page. Then you go ahead and type it up, remembering to save as you go along.
When you have finished typing, look over to your right hand side, there, you will see a panel, on that panel it will say
preview page
save draft
update and some other writing hints.
In you are ready to publish it, save in draft first and then, preview the page, now once done and you like it you can press EDIT PAGE at the top of the dashboard.
This will take you bacK to your edited copy.
When Ready!
Press Publish
This will take you to your finish page or post!
PS) once saved you can always go back and add pages and post.

As Kyle says, in some themes this happens because you have not yet added the About Page to the navigation menu. It does not show up there automatically.
The video link Kyle gave you explains custom menus. As he says, that's a good way to have control.
The other way, in a nutshell:
1. Go to Appearances > Menu. Either create a new menu name or select an existing menu.
2. From the left column, select the Pages tab. A list of the current pages on your site will appear underneath.
3. Tick to select the About page and hit the Add To Menu tab.
4. Save the menu.
Refresh the page on the web and you should see it in the navigation menu.

I'm already part of a company that I'm trying to grow a team for...that's how I got here...can that be my niche? Thank you.
Oh my gosh, I do believe there is such a thing as serendipity! Like myself, I've come across and have been thinking about promoting another business through WA. And here is the answer. Your the best Robert. I also read it somewhere within WA and for the life of me could not remember where I viewed the source from. I do know that it was a conversation of the same nature that was discussed between Kyle and someone from the community. Talk about coincidences and confirmations. The universe is a guide. My gosh! I found this in my email alert for WA. So whoever asked the question, thanks. And I also thank the Universe as well.
I was going to call you mate, but then that would be Aussie, lol! Happy eats my friend! ~ Becky
You can create a website round anything you want to as long as its legal.
You can sell or promote whatever you want to but again as long as its legal.
