Fear of Writing Failure

Or, do you fear the MOUSE in the HOUSE?!

Greetings, WA Family. Hearty Welcome to Newest Members!!

Here is a way to overcome a fear of writing. Some of you struggle with the concept of placing your thoughts on paper. HOW-TO is frightening. Perhaps never having experienced success in the past of communicating successfully through your written thoughts, you wonder how to overcome a fear of writing.

Seriously, if you can type, use the hunt-n-peck method, or are typing trained, the Wealthy Affiliate's platform is a great way to break through the barrier of FEAR that many people have. Here are suggestions to help you follow through to success. Do not let your fear of failure preclude your potential success in the Wealthy Affiliate relationship. Here is a way how to overcome a fear of writing.

PERHAPS you don't have ANY THOUGHTS? That is another topic.

Success Suggestions:

I would like to hear how this works for you.

1. Choose one idea in your mind. Expound on that.

2. Do NOT seek perfection, until later. Just start punching in your ideas as they freely flow.

3. THEN, go back and select an editor. Let the editor improve your expressions.

4. REREAD: If it does not say what you mean to say, change it to what you want to say.

5. REPEAT EDITOR until it says what you want to say, in the way the editor will also accept.

Writing instructors often teach: "There is no such thing as 'Writing;' only 'Rewriting!'"

The Process: Write; read; change: condense, rearrange; rewrite; reread. Repeat. Ah... Now that makes sense!

I really would like to hear from you, following this process. Did it worked for you?

Does this show how to overcome a fear of writing?

Wishing You Success!
Shirley

Awesome, Shirley! When my writing my books, for instance, it is editing, editing, and more editing!😂

Jeff

Writing a book is a lot of work! But you become close to your book, almost your 'baby.' Are you writing a SERIES, or a SET?
Do you know how many books you plan to write? Will you self-publish? Sell therm online?
No need to answer all my Q's unless you

Wishing you success in your project.

Shirley

Well, it is a 15 volume "set", but then there will be a sequel set following it, Shirley, as the 15th volume has no definitive ending!

Wow! You are so busy. When someone buys your books, they will have bought a whole Library. Enjoy!

Those are just the ones from the series, Shirley! I have about six others on varying subjects!

PROific PROducer! Go PRO!

In one writing class I believe I was told, writing and rewriting is often 6 times, before it is ready to print. For me, that SHOULD be true, because I am too wordy (have you already noticed), and my writing needs to be condensed.

Nothing wrong with your writing, Shirley! Keep up the excellent progress!

Jeff

Thank you for the affirmation. I feel good about that; but some of my best writing is when I get short and cryptic. I can meander through words when my audience is eager to 'get on...'
Yet I do hear Kyle suggesting writing in warm and friendly manner so it can connect with the reader on an emotional level rather than pure business. (My descript interpretation of what I just listened to. Ha!)

Yes, indeed, Shirley!

Yes, Shirley! I can agree with that assessment!

Jeff

Awesome, SHeisey1, It's really.
I am just in your wait.
It's a great one of to-do-list
Thanks

Hello Mizanur,
Thank you for reading my blog, which was inspired by the comment of another WA member.
I wish you success in your choice to work the WA way so you can manage your family better, easier. Great idea!
I hope you like this situation as well as I do.
Shirley

Hello Shirley,

Thank you for this post
and it is quite helpful for
everyone whether you
are new or have been
writing for a while.

It's a great refresher
course for everyone.

The point is there is
always a way or two
how someone can
actually write in their
own style with nothing
to fear nor be confused.

Good for you, Shirley,
and thank you once again.

Blessings more for you.

Elizabeth

I miss you more than ever.

Thank you so much for your
encouragement I do really
appreciate you.

Sending you love and light,

Elizabeth
