I have a side box with META in it and I want to utilize what I can of my site. Thanks!!

You do not need to use the Meta Keyword box in the AIO seo pack, if that's what you are talking about.

However, if you are talking about the 'meta' widget, you can remove that. It's not necessary for your website!

Hey Shawn. Hope fully this training can help you out further. Have a great day.

I want to thank you for that information. So I take it not to use the Meta box. What is it exactly though? Thank you again!!

I understand the acronym for HTML. My question is : how do I create a HTML document? I ask this because the affiliate program I am in has the logos ,etc that I have access to

An HTML document is the file that web browsers use to present your web page. Although you can write HTML files to represent each page of your website, content management systems (such as WordPress) dynamically create the HTML file for your website page so you don’t need to create an HTML document per se.

If you’re interested in seeing the contents of an HTML document, go to any website and choose any page you’d like. Then, with the cursor resting over the page, use the mouse button on the right (i.e. right-click the mouse) and you should see a pop-up menu. From the pop-up menu, select “View Page Source”. What you will see is the HTML document provided to the browser from the website.

In general, you won’t need to worry too much about the HTML code when using WordPress but there may be times that you’ll want to do something specific. You can add pieces of HTML code into a WordPress post/page (and even the template) and WordPress will incorporate that HTML code into the HTML document that’s dynamically created for the browser.

With regards to your affiliate program, I’m assuming that it’s probably linking information that they’re indicating that you place into the HTML document. In the post/page editor of WordPress, you can use the ‘Insert/edit Link’ button (looks like a chain) and then add your affiliate URL into the Link pop-up window and, effectively, that is creating the “anchor” HTML code into your post/page document. You can then select the “Text” tab in the editor and you’ll see the actual HTML code that the editor placed into the page for you. You can also manually enter HTML code directly into the post/page in the Text tab.

For future reference, if you come across some HTML code that you don’t understand or just want to learn a little more about, a good resource to check is: http://www.w3schools.com/html/

WOW! Thank you most kindly for that in depth explanation. That.is most helpful. Seems I am not as ignorant of that aspect as I started out being.

When you go to edit your page/post, at the top right of your editor there is a "Visual" and a "Text" tab. By default you will see your content as visual. If you click on the "Text" tab you'll see the HTML version of your page. That's where you insert the HTML code.
You can flip back to "Visual" to see what it looks like visually.

Thank you very much!! that is most helpful!!

I cant seem to find how to change the font size. I am needing a larger font in some cases. Thank you in advance!

This should help

You can use the heading 1 to 6 for that. If that’s not what you want, you can use the WP Edit plugin. Here’s the tutorial.

Thank you very much for that information.

You're most welcome =)

Can I legally add pics and description of my niche product before joining an affiliate program? Guitars for instance. Do they fall under any laws for one to use them to build c

You should contact the company you're affiliating with to make sure it's OK to use the images for your site. Usually, it's not an issue, and sometimes companies simply won't respond to requests like that because no one really knows.

I've never had an issue using images from companies I affiliate with, but that doesn't mean it's the correct way to do it!

I would think so. A quick search tells me that you will need to contact each individual company to find out their rules on such. Generally, any of them will as long as you are linking back to them. At least that's what I read about amazon.

Thank you very much.I was hoping that I could build up content first and show the pic alongside. I will start getting in contact with them. Again thank you very much!

You're welcome! I am doing something similar, with guitar accessories for repairing/building. I'll use product photos from the retail sites and link back to them.
