Core “Business Start Up” Training

I want to incorporate ClickFunnels landing pages and a course/membership site into my website. I would like for it to integrate seemlessly with my domain.

Hi Shawn, if you like you can set up a free sales funnel, just follow this link Phil

Awesome. Thank you!

You are welcome Shawn. WA is a 15 year old company and there are TONS of trainings here, if you look in the search bar at the top of the page, just punch in whatever training you want and almost every time you will find it! That is how I found this link for sales funnels.

Will thrive themes features work on this platform?

Yes, I use all of thrive theme products with my sites that are hosted here.

i don't use it but here a discussion that might help: Also, if you type 'thrive themes' in the WA search bar, you will find other discussions about it. ~Jude

I've been away for awhile and am wanting to go back through the training. How do I reset my training history?

I would think if you unchecked your task boxes it will move you back to where you want. The task boxes in each lesson are what moves your training history.

Great idea! Thanks!

Hi Shawn,

Just click on the Classrooms and select the topic that you left off. Hope this helps.

I'm attempting to upload the Thrive Content Builder plugin but keep getting an error message: "Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again."

I'm really wanting to

I have just uploaded the 'Thrive Visual Editor' to the Plugins directory on my site via FileZilla. It took around half an hour to complete the large 20 MB transfer. Everything was copied across.

The only problem is that although the FTP client clearly shows the 'Thrive Visual Editor' present in the Plugins directory, together with the WA SEO plugin, there is no indication in WordPress that this upload exists!

How frustrating.

As other WA members have found, uploading large files triggers the irritating 'Are you sure you want to do this?' WordPress message.

So, what must I now do to inform the WordPress installation that the uploaded 'Thrive Visual Editor' plugin exists?

I use Thrive themes and TCB and I love it, there has been some issues, but not enough to say hey I am not happy with this. The support is great, accept I am sleeping when they are all awake, argh!! But I love how it works and although I am struggling with a area right now, I know it won't be long before I get it sorted out. Good luck, hope you got it sorted too :)

Hi Guys,
I've been looking at the Thrive Content builder myself and am on the edge of taking out the membership. I have asked them about using it with WA/SiteRubix but they say they have no knowledge of either and as long as we can add plug-ins there should be no problems. Of course I don't want to add extra expense in setting up my new website/business unless it's going to add to my project i.e. simplify and speed up the process of getting into the game, so I'm wondering if you can advise on Thrive or perhaps if you found a better option steer me to it.

I've only had experience of building websites in the past with visual/wysiwyg drag and drop builders and am not getting on at all well with the Wordpress process. Any help would be gratefully received and appreciated.

Cheers, Martin ;-)

Agh! I'm having the same problem.

I opted in the Thrive Themes membership today, only to not be allowed to upload their plugins.

It probably has to do with the WA hosting.

Better send in a ticket.

You have to do it via FTP. I don't remember exactly how off the top of my head, but I'll try to find the answer and copy here.

I found this answer on another thread. It should help.

OK - don't know where the original question and answer went, but I led MoneySmith to this video.

I use this theme and the instructions are probably pretty general.

Themes whose files are to large have to be FTP'd as well as Paid Themes.

Yeah, I got it too. It took me a while, but I did.
Cheers.

Thank you, I just ran into the same issue and this helped! :-)

Hi, I have transferred the content builder through FTP but it's not showing up on the worpdress plugin section. Very strange.

On Filezilla I see the Thrive visual editor but when opening my WP admin dashboard... nothing.

CAn somebody help please?

Are you sure you uploaded it into the same folder as your other plugins? If not, it won't appear in the plugin section of WP. I'm not sure what else it could be.

My site isn't loading, nor am I able to access the maintenance area. I configured my DNS correctly with Dreamhost. Not sure what's wrong. I've submitted a ticket, done as suggested

It's been about 48 hours now. Others are able to go to my site, but where I am is so remote (off the grid Alaska) that the ISP doesn't update often enough to refresh the settings. I think it has something to do with their cache.

How long has it been? Dreamhost's wiki states "Because there is no single shared standard throughout the internet, this entire process can take from a few hours to up to 72 hours. "

Major roadblock: dns settings correct, so why won't my site load?
