Weekend Bliss For Me! Are You Taking A break?
Hi, everyone!
Just wanted to drop everyone in my network a line and remind you that taking a break is good for the soul!
Do not forget to take care of yourself!
I am in Football mode myself.
They are airing the 1st Superbowl tonight on the NFL Network, then playoff games the rest of the weekend!
I will be manning my computer all weekend writing content and watching the games so if you need any company I should be in and out of chat all weekend, including today :)
I do so love to hang out and be a pest, lol

Hi Shawn.......I saw the ad about the 1st Super Bowl broadcast, supposedly a lost, then found film strip? Green Bay/Kansas City, 1967 wasn't it? A year after the Ice Bowl in Green Bay? It'll be interesting to see it.....totally different then than now......not nearly the huge production and hoopla......it was just basically another football game on TV then, the one that ended the NFL season. Green Bay and Seatle need to win, so the Packers can have revenge for the last game with Arizona, and get a chance at Seatle next week for the conference title and to play in the SuperBowl.
That is my dream next two weekends anyway, lol IF Green Bay looses, I am going with Carolina all the way

We have a Basketball Practice tonight then a game tomorrow for my 10 year old Nephew's team that I coach thru our Church's Upward program.

Have a great weekend. I won't be watching football since it is already night time here when the matches start. I won't work either. At least not a lot :)

:) You know I was thinking on you? I switched on the TV five minutes ago, browsed through the channels and found out that there are two matches starting at 10 PM my local time - Patriots vs Chiefs and LA vs Ottawa (ice hockey). I just might watch them simultaneously.
Right now I am following a handball game with one eye - Sweden vs Slovenia at the European championships.
My day so far:
1. early morning run - 12K with 300 meters of vertical climb,
2. breakfast, thorough vacuuming of the house, walk with sons
3. lunch
4. a family hike to the same hill on which I was running in the morning. There is a mountain hut at the top so we enjoyed tea, pastry (OK, it was beer for me).
5. dinner
6. baking bread
The only important thing left for today is evening walk with the dog.

Well, yesterday evening I proved to myself yet again that the 'spectators sports' is not for me :)
Slovenia lost against Sweden, LA lost against Ottawa and I don't care who wins in football. So - no more TV sports! This morning I already did the morning run. Next thing to do is go for a family hike in the snow :)
