Hi, Everyone!

I am now moving on to getting some videos created for my wife's new website.

These videos will need to have a visual background of anything relaxing. This could be anything from a relaxing screensaver type background to a flowing ocean, etc..... and there will be music and her voice over this.

My mission is to find a way to create these videos for her.

:)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I need to find sources for the background, the music and how to create the whole thing.

If you have any knowledge on any of this please speak up!

I have some video libraries of motion backgrounds, etc… What software are you going to be using to create it and what formats do you need? Youtube/Vimeo compatible I presume. I used to create and syndicate TV commercials across the country for retailers and manufacturers in the home furnishings industry for 17 years. Still have a lot of the equipment and software on board here. I have many elements as well as the software to create any unique elements you may want or need for branding purposes.

Here's someone to keep in your treasure chest! Nice to know!

Wow, Julie, you are a godsend for sure. I will get back at you next week. I am going to try to go through all of this then.

I recently upgraded my ScreencastOMatic and was surprised it was only $15/year. Even more to my surprise are the editing options. I can cut, move, add scripts, - a lot of options! I will be playing with it this week so I can learn the editing.

Awesome, will add that to the list too!

I use Easy Video Suite with a free tool called handbrake. Your other option would be to get it done by one of the top rated sellers on Fiverr

Thanks, all noted!

A really great video editor and recorder tool is Camstasia. It starts as a free trial I think you get 7 days or a month for free. It has tons of helpful videos on how to edit your videos or record them as freely as you need.

Thanks so much Brandon, it is now on the list :)

No problem. I became a member today so I'm excited to make my own domain today. :) I love your success story. I'd like mine to be sooner than 6 months so I can become independent. I love to travel around and see new places and learn new things. Having extra time to play my favorite games are a great plus aswell. I'll be trying my best and if you have any tips you would like to refer me to then all are welcome. :) Thanks.

Samson Go Mic Portable USB Condenser Microphone is one of the best ones and the price is very affordable. I'm very happy with it. You can order one at Amazon

Noted, thanks!

Everything you'll need for free is available on http://WeVideo.com It's a very easy to use online editor.

Windows movie maker is also free and easy to use, but I would recommend that if you're going to make a lot of movies, get yourself something like Corel's Video Studio Pro (~$80) and install it on your computer, that way you'll have more control over the editing process.

As for mic's and cameras - start simple with something like a $50 HD webcam (Logitech, MS Lifecam, etc.) No need to buy a fancy mic at this time, I've been using a Logitech single arm boom mic that I picked up for $20 and it works just fine.

As for flowing backgrounds, you should be able to head over to http://VideoBlocks.com and get a 7 day free trial to download whatever you'd like. Take advantage of that for now, but as they noted, Pond5 would be a great choice also!

If you need any help on videos, give me a shout.

Thanks so much, will check all this out!

If you are concerned about quality, get yourself a large diaphragm, cardioid microphone. You'll never look back!

Will check that out!

http://www.flixpress.com/ --- for the video.

For the audio, YouTube has some built-in. But, they overtake your voice audio. Here's a place you can some Public domain audio tracks:

http://www.pond5.com/

...... and then lower the background audio and enhance her voice. I have a program that does it. But, Windows Movie Maker can do it also and it's free.

Thanks!

I used this one in the past http://www.pond5.com/

Will check it out!

Hey Shawn, Sorry unfamiliar at this time, I think Loes or Marion Black might help you.

Thanks!
