Bad Week Good Week
The above was a brand new RV trailer.
It has been a very hard week so far for us here but there are bright spots.
Bad week: My son lost everything in Rockport,Texas
Good Week: He still has his life and for that we are all grateful.
Shelby and my hearts go out to each and everyone going through this horrible event, may you all be safe!

Ditto, Shawn. Sorry for the losses incurred by your son but happy your family is OK. Things can be replaced. Praying for all those caught up in what nature has given them in the last couple of days and will continue to give in the next few.
So sorry to hear about your son's loss, but you are right. In a situation like this you are grateful that he is alive. We have been through fairly severe flooding ourselves here in the UK, but nothing like as bad as what the people in Texas are going through right now. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Devastating! So sorry this happened to you and your family Shawn, but very glad to read they survived.
A couple of my referrals come from my WA posts. I know that because they place a re: right after signing up. So I keep blogging here as well as on my website
I should be more visible. Since this took off I am just always busy, but I love what I am doing for sure.
I need to write more training here at WA, I guess this winter will be a good time since it now looks like I will be spending winter up north at the house in Minnesota.
I am not a fan of winter anymore and will be home indoors until March, lol
Shawn, I am so very sorry for your son and all that he has lost. I have family living in Houston too and fortunately, they live in North Houston so they are still above water. It is a tragedy of epic proportions and you are right, He is lucky. Things can be replaced, lives can not.
I live in Baton Rouge which happens to be on the East side of this storm, only 300 miles away. We have been getting lots of rain but nothing like the 49+ inches that Houston has already received and possibly up to 15 more inches by Friday.
I will keep You and your Son in our prayers and that his recovery will come in soon.
God Bless,
Ken
Thanks, Ken, I am so glad you guys are OK. It is such a bad feeling knowing your son was ground zero. This thing hit him first as he was about 100 yards from the beach, just unbelievable. So glad he got out of there when he did.
Ey Shawn, our hearts go out to you and all of your family... and all of our brothers and sisters in the great state of Texas!
Oh Shawn, how tough! I've been following all that's going on in Texas and I can't believe my eyes. I'm so glad that your son is still alive. Thinking of everyone there!
