I am wondering if editing a post or page multiple times after you originally published it will affect the way it ranks in search engines.
As long as you don't edit the title. You can edit the content all you want, just not the title. That would mess up the permalink and cause a 404 crawl error with Google index.
It is ok to edit posts as many times as you need to after publishing. It will rank in the search engine according to the most current edit.
Let me know if this helps Shauun,
Tony

Is it ok to edit posts after you have published them?

Help! I wrote an article required by the training. I published it. Then I opened it, edited it more and republished it. So far I don't see the latest revision. Also, the dashboard list says No Title, No Description and No Keywords. I haven't seen anything in the training yet about this.
Do not worry about the "No Title", "No Description" and "No Keywords". Those should always be blank when using the All in One SEO Pack plugin because the plugin fills those in automatically behind the scenes.
Making changes to already published content can take 7-10 days before you see a change. It all depends on how quickly Google crawls your content. I always save my content as Draft and ONLY publish it whe I am certain the content is complete.
