During my absence, I studied the 2 biggest fears in my plan...
#1. Email. For some reason, this task confounded me. As of now, it's coming along, and I'm still not sure what I'm doing, but I'll figure it out. ('With a Little Help From My Friends').
#2. I know the course I want to build. I have the material... now what?
With the time I was away, I went to two separate platforms and received training on how to use both, and chose the one that fit me best.
2 Fears Down... A new one pops up...VIDEO!! Oh, s(bleep)!
Now I have to get going on video production. Sigh.
Video is not as complicated as initially thought. WHew!
As I create course content, I will also be putting my site content into a Vlog format and tweaking old content...
Why am I sharing all this? The Squirrels are FINALLY running amok again!!
My latest squirrel is Java Joe.
Java Joe is reasonably self-explanatory, and at 2 a.m., he's the one that I talk to the most. ( I know someone's going to point out the fact that this could be my sleep issue, and I know it's true! Problem is, that when I wake up and wander around, I find myself at the coffee station).
As Joe and I commune, I have found that I have been on the WA site more and more. A little less stalky than before, and I'm starting to participate again.
When I first started this journey, what's it been now? Just less than 2 years ago? It was nothing for me to spend a minimum of 6 hours a day on-site. I have missed the participation. I have missed the community. So my advice to those who feel they need a break, take one but try not a three-month sabbatical as I did.
Back to my original thoughts... step away from the Squirrels Shaunna...
One of the main lessons in the course I was taking was:
Don't strive for Perfection when you start.
Good Enough will get you to Perfection...or
We'll never be PERFECT, it will always be just out of our reach, but our Good Enough will ever get better...with time and dedication!
So Be Brave!! And Suck at something new!

Hi Shaunna, thanks for a new thought, "Be brave!! And Suck at something new!" Now that is something that I can work with.
Since so often I feel that I fail at so many things I think I can live with that thought and hope that with time I can improve, and hopefully not suck at so much.

I must be very brave then, as I majorly 'suck' at most things when I start. Isn't that the way it is for all of us ? We keep going though, gradually getting better.

Great blog and love your squirrel. I know exactly what you mean though how easy it is to be here on WA for hours at a time.
You are right though, we can only ever do our best and there is no one who is perfect. Just enjoy what you are doing and carry on. Good luck with the videos. Xxxx
