Shawgin's Odyssey: Day 2
I awoke from my cabin feeling lighter of heart today. I would assume this new fervor is due in no small part to our journey yesterday. Whilst sailing towards our prospective allies we were met on the seas not by pirates, but by fellow merchants and even an ambassador from the lands to which we sailed.
They gave us tidings of lands full of honest works and the riches they produced. We were even told by more than one that there were empty stalls in their markets awaiting new merchants. All we need do is arrive and move in our wares. Perhaps we shall dock sometime after noon on this day and do just that.
An aside - some of the crew seem to have taken our past voyages harder than I originally thought. Disciplinary issues have arisen among the men last night. It was nothing too serious as of yet, but I will need to keep a watchful eye. Certainly success on this voyage would greatly increase their moral, as well as my own.
