When should you be checking out your Website's stats on Google Analytics?

Hi all,
Throughout the training we are advised not to add Google Analytics to our site too early (as I guess, it does make sense) you have to have traffic before you will see any movement in the analytics.
So my question is, if I have actively built up a blog, 2-3 posts a week, when is it a good time to really be looking at analytics and to be encouraged/hopefully not discouraged by the stats. Is it best to not worry about stats until your blog is a couple of months old or 6 months old or even further down the track?
What is your experience with this?
Cheers, Sharon

After a month or so is fine, but keep in mind when a site is still new, that it's normal to not see much activity, so if you see low numbers, don't let it worry you Sharon. Usually a big traffic explosion hits after month 3 or 4 if your site has been consistently getting new content on it.
Good advice Vitaliy. My site is about 3 months old and I am consistently adding content so I do realise it will take time. Impatient comes to mind however lucky I was on Jays 10 top Tips webinar and his 1st tip being Don't Rush!
Thanks Vitaliy, you are always a good help!
Anytime :)
