Please somebody help me out
Hello. I'm really really new to WA. And I'm super confused about the niche concept. I want to try and go in the direction of helping people live a better/happier life. Or raising children i.e. boys. I have Google both topics plus added the + affiliate aspect. And did not get very far with either. I've been seeking help on this topic for the past 2 hours. I don't wanna move on til i grasp and understand it. Do y'all think that i need to come up with a potential product style niche. Because Kyle specifically said gear towards my own peraonal interest. And theae 2 things interest me.
MAY SOMEONE PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO HELP ME BETTER UNDERSTAND.

I was more confused than you 3 years before as I see life is combination of many aspects, not one niche. Then reality dawned on to me: 1. You have to be clear of your offering. It cannot be all things to all people. 2. To be clear, the pain point of other person to be crytal clear. Why? without this you dont have clear marketing message online. What happens if you dont have clear message? Nobody knows your offer clearly or shown to wrong people as you will contrained in marketing efforts. And hence you will be more frustrated. This means no business. Am I clear. I can be of help to you if required, as I have gone through this and now am doing exec coaching to million dollar companies. This is to instil confidence in you AND assure you that you are normal and you are on a growth path! good luck!

Welcome to WA and yes choosing a niche can be tricky however I suggest you think how can you monetize each interest you have down the track further?
For example
With your 1st choice, you want people to live happier lives which is wonderful- How are you going to help them? What are you going to teach them? Are you going to guide them to a place where they will learn?
Ask yourself-How will I help people?
This may give you some answers to direct you further
Ok, raising boys- Another great niche
Who are you going to target
How are you going to help people
What are you going to encourage people to buy to help them?
Any choice you make should be able to be monetized down the track when you get right into the training.
What I did was write a list of everything I enjoy and have knowledge about. I would also ask your boys what they love. what clothes, toys, music, sports etc as this may trigger some great ideas
