So, what did you take away from last nights webinar?

About Last night

The 7 factor "secret sauce" 60 minute webinar (turned 90 mins) was an awesome class with a lot of reassuring, and refreshing insight on running our online businesses. If you didn't get to catch it the replay will be up soon, if it already hasn't at this point in the day. If you just so happen to catch it I'm sure you were all satisfied with the outcome of attendance.

As always the training here leaves a lot to takeaway, and apply to our daily routine in O.B. M!

So.......

prior to the webinar

I was rebuilding my site and really digging deeper into my niche and how can I be a unique brand. I was bouncing back and forth with ideas while taking on finding some great companies to affiliate with, and how I can narrow my niche down and make it more clear who I am talking to.

With this thought in mind I began to attempt a perfect setting(website) to begin really earning an income. I just had to have perfect articles, and images, while my email marketing campaigns would run. Well my laptop display went blank by thanksgiving.

Leaving me putting my IPhone to use and run the WA mobile. This is where I really found out how far I was from the mark. I began finding out that none of my articles had proper seo settings. A lot of my articles were incomplete articles, and I had no clear direction as to what my visitors were here for.

And I think I may have just found out why!

After the webinar

I was reassured that the perfect site does not exist until it is defined through your audience. I wasn't focused on the important parts that make my business a success. I strayed away from my original plans to success because I was gaining a little of traffic according to "analytic"!

And I got complacent thinking I could scale back, and my traffic would continue to climb. Then I got lazy, and sidetracked with outside interference.

Because my focus was placed in the wrong arena my business suffered tremendously. I lost sight on when I first started in the beginning MY 5 hrs a day that I worked was packed with a shortlist of actions to complete in order to accomplish a certain set of goals just to make it to my long term goal of a successful company earning a passive income.

Although it was a simple step it was an important stepped that I missed. Focus on MY NICHE and producing helpful, quality, consistent content. That's it! Not found in TV, social media entertainment, or analytic.

social media entertainment meaning I shouldn't be watching videos for laughs or, debating views if it is taking my time away from me while I am on the clock. If I couldn't sit on my phone while I cut hair why would I be on social media while I am on my OWN clock.

When I first began I would work late night and sometime early mornings. Now I'm turning n early to watch the game, law & order, or just talk on FB, Instagram, and YouTube. I didn't dive into my Niche looking to gain more insight how to be helpful. I was looking to gain from my niche as opposed to bringing something to my niche.

After waking up this morning it hit me! If I take on the whole WA premise and apply it to my niche I will always be looking to help first, and gain last. This place has always been a help when I needed since day one! I want m site to be just the same.

Most certainly if I don't have a helpful site then what would I need an email marketing list for? Boy was I off, and of course THE great folks of WA was there to help get me right back on.

Finishing up my thoughts

Wealthy Affiliate is all about helping others achieve goals, and become successful online entrepreneurs. My Job should be to create an environment where my audience can find the solutions to their beauty needs as a professional or a consumer.

Working on my authority and putting quality hours into accomplishing those small tasks onto a greater goal. If you haven't seen the webinar please go check it out! Especially if you're just starting out, lost your way, or just need a refreshing word to blow through your daily routine.
