Hi, i was wondering if the use of H1, H2 and H3 tags are still considered a necessity in terms of having a good on page SEO score, where it contains the keywords? Thanks.
Yes, but you do not need to use H1. With most WordPress websites the page or post title will automatically be displayed as an H1. So you should strive to make heading tags either an H2 or an H3.
Thanks boomergp08! One more question. Is it ok to use H2 Tags more than once? And if that's okay, what's the maximum number of times we can use it in a post/page? I mean i'm not gonna use it like 10 times, but what if i use them say about 3-4?
Reason i'm asking this is because, H3 and H4 tags appear to have different sizes on mobile and it just looks weird.
I would like to keep the font sizes consistent. Thanks
Yes, you can use H2 tags more than once. Do what looks best but don't use them too much, 3 to 5 times should be enough, depending how long your content is.

As my man says, definitely use H2 or H3 for sub headings. It's still a mild indicator with on page SEO, but there are also great UX benefits.
It allows the readers to scan what your content, and jump to parts that interest them most.
